Those messages you left on the new sysops' pages are completely selfish. Why are you ruining their moment? We did not take a whole lot of new sysops, but even if we had taken more, there are a lot of other users who would be in line ahead of you. The thing, I entirely agree with Dot com on all basises {sic} of this matter. However, I have two other reason. First, it is generally frowned upon to ask to be a sysop, and what you were doing was hinting strongly. Second, making people feel sorry for you when they've just had probably one of the happiest moments you can have at the wiki is unacceptable. I'm saying this because I know you can be a wonderful user if you want to be. It's just that sitting around crying is not going to help. Take on a big project or something, and this goes for you too, The 386. Look, The thing, although you haven't really violated any wiki rules, your continual posting of one-word answers to questions on large amounts of user talk pages is...well...getting on my nerves. Look, we all want to be sysops, but we have to prove ourselves, first. Letting you become a sysop likens in my mind to letting Ted Kennedy become President. The user "U R WRIRD"! was coming from my cousins house! He didn't know anything about wikis. So I showed him this one, he loved it. But his IP address got blocked! I see you joined the Validation committee again. I suggest before you do that you get some practise in – validating your own user page would be a good start, it already has quite a few errors. Also, although these edits help, they didn't go all the way, and these edits didn't even help at all (and if you're editing someone else's user page it's a curtesy to leave an edit summary saying why).
