[edit] I'm in!
Thanks for welcoming me. I'm glad to be here. The 386
[edit] Signatures
Hey, The 386! I have been noticing that, when you are on talk pages, you sign your name like this The 386. That isn't how you sign. Here is how you sign. The 386. Just want to let you know! Rogue Leader / (my talk) 22:28, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)
- And the easy way to do that is to use four tildes: ~~~~. Generally we use four tildes to sign on a talk page and three tildes to vote on STUFF (four tildes is a signature with a timestamp). Homestar Coder 22:30, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Oh, crud. I'll try though. Is this better? The 386

Yep. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 22:35, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Were good. The 386 22:37, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)The 386
It's fine, but you don't need to use the tildes and then put The 386, just the tildes. It's no big, but it looks like you're signing twice. :) Homestar Coder 22:38, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Right. The 386 22:39, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Perfect! Homestar Coder 22:40, 1 Sep 2005 (UTC)

[edit] How to do custom sigs.
Likes you asked...
Go to User:The 386/sig and edit it as you please. You could make it The 386(talk) or anything you want. Then go to your preferences and in the "Your nickname (for signatures)" box put and make sure you have the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" checked. Then everytime you put ~~~~, it will put that sig. - Camalex(talk) 01:35, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)

There you go, I made the page for you. Just edit User:The 386/sig to make it display what you want.
I got it now. The 386 My talk
Do you want to make it different colors? If so, I could help.-- Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 02:27, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Yeah, I want different colors. The 386 My talk
- Which ones would you like and do you want it to be in bold like my sig, or just regular?-- Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 12:40, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
I'll take the bold, but I hope it does what I want. The 386 My talk
- Okay, now it's in bold. What colors do you want?-- Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 12:47, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
It should be dark red on the text, and yellow on the line. The 386 My talk
No, not the line. I think it should be just the text. The 386 My talk
- You like it?-- Bkmlb(talk to me·stuff I did) 12:57, 4 Oct 2005 (UTC)
I like it. The 386 My talk
I've noticed that the (talk) part of your signature doesn't link to your talk page. Would you like me to fix it for you? – The Chort 16:30, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
I need help! my signature dosent work correctly! Do you know how to fix it so the image links to the website? and how to make text smaller? My sig is User:Finest1/sigFinest1
[edit] Current Status
Hey, there. I see you've added a "Current Status" section to your user page. In case you didn't know, there are some special pictures you can add to show how stressed you are. They are:
Image:Wikistress3D 1 v3.jpg (Just fine)
Image:Wikistress3D 2 v3.jpg (A bit tense)
Image:Wikistress3D 3 v3.jpg (Pretty stressed)
Image:Wikistress3D 4 v3.jpg (I quit/I need a vacation)
– The Chort 16:08, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
Oh, that's fine. Can you show me how to get that image? --The 386 My talk 16:08, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
Oh, never mind. I like my page as is, but the image is optional. --The 386 My talk 16:26, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
- Also, there is a Image:Wikistress3D 5 v3.jpg (Run for cover). However, it's rarely seen. But it looks like this:
Oh crud, that's rare.
So, it would match the response to the image. So, you did. Still, How do I get such an image?
The 386 My talk
- I'm not quite sure what you mean, so I'll just answer what I think you mean.
- To get the first, type .
- To get the second, type .
- To get the third, type .
- To get the fourth, type .
- To get the fifth, (my favorite), type .
Okay, I definetely deserve an image like that. It helps a lot!

[edit] Hey
Just popped in to say hello.--ΨHomsarΨroksΨ 02:17, 8 December 2005 (UTC)
Uhh... how come? Well, for starters, someone like you, may be good.
Well, I'll let it slide for now.
Is there anything else you'd like to say?
The 386 My talk
I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. That's all. I would also like to ask you about your opinion of Homsar. That's about it. Oh, just out of curiosity, what did you mean by "may be good"?--ΨHomsarΨroksΨ 00:37, 9 December 2005 (UTC)
Whoops, I didn't mean "may be good."
But still, thanks for the introducement.
Do you think I should have a guestbook?
The 386 My talk
Hmm...Yeah, probably. I have one. It's fun to see who checks out your page. I also like to encourage people to make comments about my userpage on my talk section. It's always nice to get feedback.--ΨHomsarΨroksΨ 18:25, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

- According to your stress template, you're pretty stressed. Hope things turn out a bit better. (And I hope you also get that vacation you need). — talk Bubsty edits 04:44, 18 December 2005 (UTC)
I have it, but I'm still active. I'm going to stay active, even though I'm on vacation. I'm gonna return soon. Okay, guys? --The 386 My talk 20:21, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Signature
The 386, with your several frustrated reverts of your signature, it has come to my attention that you may simply be having a cache issue. For your signature to appear the way you've updated it, the caches on the pages it was linked to from will need to be purged. — Lapper (talk) 21:11, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
I'm going to leave my sig as is, so, I'm giving up on it. I'll try later. --The 386 My talk 21:13, 31 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] About that warning.
You don't have to worry about spam from me. I didn't even think of that when I made that name. It's a reference to Ultima 6, where one of the cheat codes was talking to a character and saying "SPAM SPAM SPAM HUMBUG". {SpamHumbug 00:39, 1 January 2006 (UTC)}
Kay. I'm pretty sure 'bout that, but still, try harder next time. --The 386 My talk 00:42, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Do I dare ask...
I've been wondering. Why do you hate me welcoming new users, but you're ok with other users doing it? — Has Matt? (talk) 00:41, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- You've welcomed over 80 users! When am I gonna... {bangs head on keyboard} Oh never mind. Carry on... --The 386 My talk 00:42, 16 January 2006 (UTC)
- You should not expect other users to step back so you can welcome someone. If a user on the welcoming committee is online, and a new user is created, he or she will welcome that new user. If you would like to welcome someone, watch recent changes carefully. — Lapper (talk) 02:27, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Kay. I'll watch. --The 386 My talk 02:28, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Siggy
I think your sig is broken. If you want it fixed, you're missing a tag. Put it in after all the other codes.
--Nckinfn04 Talc! 21:08, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
It's in. I think it's better now. The 386 My talk 21:13, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Email
Er, the tildes don't have to be in the email... --The 386 My talk 21:39, 6 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Editing Signatures
Please do not edit other user's signatures without their permission. Thank you. —FireBird|Talk 14:38, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
But that sig was too long. --The 386 My talk 14:42, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I know you were trying to help, but the only person that needs to edit Finest1's signature is himself (unless he asks somebody to do it for him). I'm aware that his sig is too big, and I'm sure he's currently working on it. Thanks for trying to help. —FireBird|Talk 14:50, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cool!
Nice potion pics, i'm gonna get somthing like that. - Derrickee3 1/8/07
[edit] Your Back!
I've never known you or seen you post, but I do know you've been gone for a long time. So I am the first to say welcome back to the wiki! Sam the Man 23:11, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
All 'cause of YouTube. --The 386 My talk 23:16, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Minor Edits
Hi, good to see you back here more frequently. I wanted to point out Help:Editing#Minor edits because I saw a recent edit marked as minor which really isn't technically a minor edit. I know, picky picky. Wasn't sure if you hadn't seen that section or just plain forgot. No big deal. Keep on tranglin'. - Qermaq - (T/C) 23:16, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Welcoming comments
Hi The 386, Re: this welcome. I would like to encourage you to be a little more friendly when welcoming new users. Your comment could've been construed as more corrective and less welcoming to users unfamiliar with the wiki. (And it's also a good idea to wait for a user to have more than a couple of edits under their belt). It's always best to sound welcoming and encouraging in a "welcome". --Stux 19:30, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] American English and edit sumaries
Re: This edit: While it is indeed right to change instances of UK English to US English, it's not necessary to shout about it, so please refrain from that in the future. A simple "Change to US spelling" or similar will be fine. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 01:28, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
I'll control myself, although Tropical Storm Hanna is about to hit us. Sorry, Nat. --The 386 My talk 01:34, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry to hear that. Hope everyone will be safe. Yours, Heimstern Läufer 01:36, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
- Bringing this topic back: The 386, I think you're going a bit far with this. This edit summary, for example. There's nothing "stupid" about UK English; it's just another way to write our language. Getting hostile about it is just going to make people mad. I'd suggest edit summaries such as "changed to US English" instead of the worked-up ones you've been using. Thanks. Heimstern Läufer 01:30, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
CRAP! I can't flare up anymore! But there I go again! I'm pretty sure this anger issue must stop, right? --The 386 My talk 03:34, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Edit Conflict
Sorry to overwrite your edit to Baddest of the Bands Responses (Battle of the Bands stages) - I got an edit conflict while making my edit, and given how much I was adding, I was too lazy to read through what you'd added in order to incorporate my own, so I just over-wrote it. From my quick skim, though, I'm pretty sure we were both adding the same stuff. --Belthazar 00:37, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hey, I wrote that first! I could undo your edit! --The 386 My talk 00:46, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
- You could, yes. However, I had a closer look at your edit after I posted here (not sure why I didn't do it before), and realised that we'd simply added the same things, at least in the section where you made your edit. If I hadn't brought it up, you probably wouldn't have noticed the difference. =) On a vaguely-related side note, regarding British English, I'm trying to spell and punctuate things the American way, but occasionally I slip up and the correct spelling or punctuation gets onto the page. You're free to fix it if you notice it. You don't, however, have to bite my head off about it. --Belthazar 01:10, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The Nintendo Wiki Ownership.
Hey do you still own the nintendo wiki because right now the wiki hasn't been used since march 06.Record307 Talk/Contribs 01:32, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Oh, sorry about that. I'll just try to notify everyone about that. --The 386 My talk 10:07, 11 March 2009 (UTC)
