[edit] WTC?!
Mister, Thunderbird, sir, I was just now looking at your comment here and I can say that I have no idea what you're talking about. What did you try to write? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:37, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Haha, I can't remember the exact words I tried to translate. Can you make out any individual words? I belive it was something to the effect of 'Greetings. Talk Empty. Can You Understand?', or something like that. If you can at least read some of the words, (They weren't in any means grammatical), I could probably remember the rest of it and translate for you. The main theme though, was that the discussion page was empty, so I figured I'd fill it up. But I wasn't sure if it was understandable or not. Just out of curiosity, what exactly was I replying to on that page? All I could make out was 'peasants'. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 20:10, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Ha.. To translate it literally: "Talk look in thin. So; That is... Therefore greeting forgive (To forgive)... Punctuation." (Whatever that means..) Anyway, you were replying to a my question how to translate peasents corrctly. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:20, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Well there you go then. What I MEANT to say was:
Talk Page Looks Small. So... Hello. Please Forgive My Grammer.
- I knew I had no chance translating the grammar even close, so I just tried simple words. I think it was at least somewhat understandable to get the theme of what I was saying. Oh well, gotta brush up on my Hebrew then I guess... :) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 20:26, 2 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- In that case, it should be: דף השיחה נראה קטן. אז... שלום. בבקשה סלח לי על הדקדוק שלי. (If you like to read it, it goes like this: Daf hasikha nir'a katan. Az... Shalom. Bevakasha slakh ly al hadikduk shely). The fact that you realy tried to expres yourself in an unfamiliar language is realy overwhelming. Just.. Wow. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 07:38, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry to bother you...
What is this computer? Is it a mac of some sort? --Dinoshaur 20:44, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Could it be an Apple IIE? — It's dot com 20:46, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
Is this already covered? I'll search for it... --Dinoshaur 20:48, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
On the Email Processing Room page, it says "The Cheat types on an old computer (telling by the shape of the computer case and the monitor on top, probably an Apple II)". —mibluvr13 20:51, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Hmmm... Guess I'm a bit late to my own question. Oh well. Come to think of it, does that Computer deserve it's own page? I would think not, but then again, we do have all the other ones... ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 23:27, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Well, maybe not its own page, but does that image (or one like it) have a home somewhere? — It's dot com 23:33, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- The only page it links to is here. A zoomed out version is there. Besides that, no. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 23:40, 3 Oct 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Internet Archive
I noticed you asking It's dot com about this. The URL you seek is [1]. Then just type www.homestarrunner.com into the Wayback Machine box and witness the archive...ness. Homestar Coder 19:07, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Pity the Wayback Machine doesn't archive SWFs. 68.161.144.174 19:41, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Oh, but they do. Just not all of them. Homestar Coder 20:34, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks, I figured a bit about it out earlier. But I don't really get how it works, if it can be used to find out specific release dates, ect. Any info on that? ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 23:30, 5 Oct 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Story?
Hey, Thunderbird, do you still want that story we made about Tom going insane? If not, do you know someone who would keep it somewhere? Because if not, I'm going to delete it. (I'll need assistance on that last part.) — Lapper (talk) 14:13, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
- Definently. Email it over if you don't mind. My email is at the bottom of my userpage. Thanks a million. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 00:59, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
- Oh I don't know. I might edit it a bit and make a good quality short story out of it. The idea is always the hardest part, and the one we came up with there is first rate. Unfortunitly, I don't have really any animating skills, so it likely won't go any farther than that. If I ever do get around to writing a professionalish type version though, you'll be the first to know. Thanks a bunch. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 01:39, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Personal CSS
By the way, nobody could have edited your CSS page even without it being protected (except sysops, but they can edit it even now that it is protected). As a test, find a regular user's monobook.css page, and then log out. It won't let you edit it. — It's dot com 22:26, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
- Oh thanks. I just finally got around to trying out my monobook to see what the main page would look like. Unfortunitly, it just came up as a blue background, without Strong Bad anywhere. Oh well. Just out of curiosity, are there many other 'change your selections' type pages, specific to each user? ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:32, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
- Yes. Monobook.js will let you customize your JavaScript. — It's dot com 00:02, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
- Okay, you can keep protecting those, but I'm trying to tell you that they're already protected. Log out and then go to mine. You won't be able to edit it, even though it's not formally protected. — It's dot com 21:54, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was hoping you wouldn't notice. I already had the one protected, I figured it should be both or neither. Guess I'll just go with neither then. Sorry about that. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:03, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- Hoping I wouldn't notice? I've got eyes in the back of my, er, keyboard. ;) And there's nothing to apologize for... it didn't hurt anything for them to be formally protected, but it technically didn't help either, and that's what I was pointing out. Besides, you don't have to do anything just because I say so. ;) — It's dot com 22:11, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
- Yea, but I respect your advice. You've got a better handle on the technical side of the wiki. Thanks for the help. :) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:27, 17 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Egg
Actually....I got that egg from a Neopets website...that I can't remember anymore. You could ask TEF...he knows.--Color Printer 11:33, 19 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] A Thundabird Question
I've just recently noticed bold N 's in the recent changes, similar to the bold m 's for minor edits. What do the N's stand for, and how do they get there? Thanks. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 03:20, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- N's mean the edit created a new page. And yes, there have been a lot in the past few days I've noticed. Username-talk 03:23, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks, I just figured that out by my expert sleuthing abilities as you replied. Is that new to 1.5, or have I just been terribly unobservant, especially for a sysop/member of the recent changes patrol? ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 03:25, 26 October 2005 (UTC)
- I'm afraid you have been unobservant. It's been there a while. But that's okay. --DorianGray

[edit] You Are the Steve Prefontaine of Video Game Racewalking
Aren't you worried about going absolutely stark raving mad (or getting carpal tunnel syndrome?) from racewalking with such grim detemrination? — THE SMOKING MONKEY 18:35, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- Too late for both of those. :) But seriously, I just wanted to make it to the 1K mark, to get the pic of the glitch. It was something I'd been putting off for a long time. Now I can honestly once again say I've pretty much seen everything on the site. Plus I contributed to the 50K Racewalker page. I wasn't gonna go all the way or anything. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:40, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- EDIT: After a quick trip to the big wiki, your comment makes all that much more sense. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:47, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- Have you guys seen this? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:48, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
- Yea, I saw it on his userpage, but not the discussion about it. Getting to the 1K mark is something I'd been meaning to do for quite some time though. Or at least see a screen of it. Eventually I got tired of waiting for one, and got it myself. I just wish I hadn't chosen a black shirt, I didn't think of it when I started. Although I did try and make the guy look like myself somewhat. :) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 18:53, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
