[edit] Voting in STUFF

Hi, WarthogDemon (BTW, cool name), you can make your username look right when voting in STUFF by typing #~~~, using three tildes, Normally, when signing your name, you use four, which produces a timestamp in addition to your name, but in STUFF we prefer to exclude the timestamp. Hope that's helpful. Heimstern Läufer 00:14, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Line Breaks

Hi, WarthogDemon. On your userpage, it looks like you're trying to get the Q's and A's to appear on different lines. To do this, type <br> at the end of a line. You could also use bullets, by typing * at the beginning of a line. Hope this helps, and welcome to the wiki! — SamSF%20sig.jpgFisher (Come in, Lambert.) 14:50, 6 October 2006

Actually, it's easier just to add an extra space, but that starts a new paragraph. --Don't_use_line_breaks has a lot of info on when to use them and when not to. - link_icon.gifThe Joe(Talk) 19:04, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cool Info

Hey, noticed your post on saying "someone" edited the page. Do you know how to tell who did? (If you do, and I'm telling you what you already know, feel free to delete.) Click the History tab. That lists every edit and who made it, and whatever edit summaries were submitted. (This is where edit summaries really come in handy.) That way you would have seen it was me who made that edit. Hope this tip enhances your wiki experience. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 00:24, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia user?

Hi there, are you the same WarthogDemon from Wikipedia? If so, we've met there (I'm known as just "Heimstern" there; you may recall posting this on my talk page). Heimstern Läufer 00:31, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Cool. Never knew you were an H*R fan. Anyway, good to have you here, too. BTW, here at HRWiki, we tend to do a few things a bit different from 'Kipedia, one of which is that we tend to keep conversations on one talk page instead of replying to each other's talk pages. Just so you know. Happy HRWikiing! Heimstern Läufer 00:48, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rhyme time

Your change to Let us give TANKS! was reverted but I just wanted to be sure you knew why it was. A rhyme has to have not just the last stressed vowel sound bei the same, but all the sounds that follow. So "that" and "cat" rhyme, because they both end "-at" but "that" and "bad" do not because they end in "-at" and "-ad" respectively. They do share what is sometimes called assonance (same vowel), though I'm not sure that's the right word really. And apologies if you knew all this already, but you'd be surprised how many people I encounter who do not know what a rhyme really is. [edit] Touchyfeelyholic

It looks fine to me. Awexome 05:47, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Don't worry

I'm halfway done. It's mostly just the speech so far, I need to add actions and adverbs. --ThomasO 04:04, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
