::Once SBEmail 201 is released, then we can worry about this triviality. If SBEmail 201 is not released for a long time, then we can worry, period. I have a feeling though that they're working on other projects at the moment, like other toons, the Roomisodes, even, dare I say, Level 10 of Stinkoman 20X6. 17:33, 3 December 2008 (UTC)

Since it's on the page, can someone put a script so it doesn't have to be updated everyday?

long pants
-
It says in the facts: Only one email longer than four sentences has ever been used.

-

-
Why does it say that? unless i am mistaken as to what a sentence is,

(1) Why doesn't homestar ever wear pants? (2) It's kind of creepy how he walks around with no pants on all the time. (3) Anyway, I think you should get him some pants, maybe some parachute pants would work...yeah, that would work. (4) Or maybe some clown pants, I don't care, just get him some pants!

-

-
i'm getting 4. is there something else being counted as a sentence? 01:40, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

::but do ellipses constitute the end of a sentence? especially if the word after them isn't capitalized, like "Why", "It's", "Anyway,", and "Or", it seems like they don't. at the beginning of each sentence, Clancy capitalizes the first letter. (understood that bad and homestar should have been capitalized also) 04:29, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Minimum interval
I kinda think retirement shouldn't count, since it's really one two-part email.  I think it probably shouldn't be removed, but can we add a note that's like, "Besides this two part email, the shortest interval was..." in the same way we list the longest interval "during an active period.  Anyway, does someone *know* the shortest interval besides retirement? -132.183.140.193 02:05, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

:I would assume a week, and that multiple intervals fit it. 02:10, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

::::I went ahead and added it.  It's interesting that one of the longest intervals was followed immediately by one of the shortest (around brianrietta). -128.103.10.135 03:38, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

long pants is long, but I think credit card is around the same amount of sentences. --Still Homsar 09:35, 1 June 2010 (UTC)

Sentence length of emails
-

-
The "Other information" section has a few brief statistics about the length of emails - that is, how many sentences long the email is. Is this information recorded anywhere? I see an article measuring the emails by length of the runtime, but nothing about how many sentences the sender typed up. Short of scrolling through Bad Email Emails and tallying up sentence count, is there any easier way to measure this? -- 17:24, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
