Yes, I think so, and doesn't it reference the character Angela Lansbury played in murder she wrote more than the miss marple movie she was in?

-
she played a mystery writer who solved mysteries. -- phantom

First of all, weclome? (it's spelled wrong) That's on purpose, right? It doesn't really seem to stand out, and it seems like if it was on purpose, TBC would make it stand out more. Second, strongbad doesn't wiggle with the plane. Should we add these?

:: I think TBC did that, because in many other 'toons, SBemails, and puppet stuff, they do switch letters around, make the word sound like it has another letter added into it, or write/type it with or without another letter. :I'm sorry to hear that. You see, your comment doesn't really belong here: it doesn't have anything to do with the content of the article about this toon, which is what this talk page is for. On the other hand, there is a forum thread specifically for opinions and chatter about the toon itself. Also, this is kind of already mentioned in the Explanations section. — It's dot com 01:30, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

::I heard they took a break from the site because their dad died.  Any verification?

-
:::Let's see; Don Chapman sadly passed away on April 15, 2006. However, the Brothers Chaps soldiered on and continued to update the site with Thy Dungeonman 3, senior prom and isp. After that, the site was quiet from May 16, 2006, until July 3, 2006, except for the occasional Store or Podstar Runner updates. Note that the break started a month after Don's death, so I don't think that was the reason why the site wasn't updated during June. Also, the toon, Weclome Back, seems to imply that the Brothers Chaps went on vacation, just like almost everyone in the toon. 13:57, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

Johnny Castaway
-

-
I'm pretty sure that there is a reference to Johnny Castaway here. Remember how Johnny always used those thought bubbles to show what he was thinking? Pom Pom and the Poopsmith do that in the easter egg. The lo-res bird that Bubs yells at seems to be circumstantial evidence too. I'm pretty certain about this one but it got cut from the article very quickly when I posted it a few days ago. Anyone else remember/willing to investigate Johnny Castaway (from screen antics)?

Gumball Surprise = reference?
Hey guys,

-

-
You know, Gumball Surprise reminds me of those "character" ice cream bars with gumball eyes or noses that you sometimes find being sold on ice cream trucks. (And "Not a real popsicle" is obviously another ice-cream-truck reference...)--71.131.30.63 21:00, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

The Fun Facts mention Marzy's guitar destruction as a direct reference to Pete Townsend. Is this apt, given the numbers of people who perform similar acts? Flashfight

Strong Bad goof?
When we see Strong Bad ranting about the whole "Oh, cuh-rap! What am I, your dad?" thing, we see nothing but the background of The Field behind him. But then, after it zooms out to see all the characters, the telephone pole with the time clock on it, it is halfway obscured by Strong Bad. Shouldn't the pole have been obscured by SB during his close-up? 04:49, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm not a pro on this wiki like you guys, so I'll let you guys edit this, but the seagull isn't an "Atari" sea gull. It's from California Games by Epyx. Classic game. Anyway, the seagull comes from the hackey-sack event.  128.12.162.3

Image in Transcript
-

-
Why is the "everybody everybody" image in the transcript? to me it looks out of place and unneeded. For history's sake (and to save everyone else the trouble of sifting through), it was added here by BazookaJoe. 00:00, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

-
:It was initially used on the What's New? bar on the main page, probably as to prevent a spoiler. It was probably added to this page later so we wouldn't lose it, and could still make use of it. --DorianGray 01:42, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

::That doesn't address the question of whether it looks good there or not. 01:46, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

:::I think it fits nicely. 01:54, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

-
::::I think it's out of place, as DeFender said.  No other toon has an image in its transcript, and it was my understanding we try to avoid it.  And though this ending screen is slightly more "notable" than others, having it in the transcript doesn't improve the page.  In fact, it's distracting, IMHO.  02:02, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

Skydive
-

-
What makes you think Strong Bad skydiving is a blatant lie? I think it is just one of thousands of the unfortunate things that has happened to him, and that the “What am I, your dad? I can't believe I pulled the old "mash Stop when you think you're mashing Record and mash Record when you think you're mashing Stop" routine on myself.” is just a hilarious explanation.

-
:I don't think that the part where he actualy skydived was a lie. I mean, He was in a plan with a parachute, but I think the part with the "narwhale" and "celebrities" was a lie. 20:10, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

-
: I can't tell one way or the other. I will add that "fruit" only makes sense if you consider the first Cool Tapes appearance, and only vaguely then. -- 23:06, 25 November 2009 (UTC)

Ok, when Homestar says "But Doe Not rememberers...exedra exedra" Is it a relation to Senor Cardgage in "Senorial Day!" saying, "You doe not want to miss out on any of the action!" Or whatever that sentance was? JibblejibblejibbleJibblejibblejibble

-
: Since he's specifically talking about donuts in this case, I doubt it, but I suppose it's possible. (BTW, it's "et cetera", not "exedra". Or just "etc." works.) -- 21:21, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
