With the name of "XL ProTime VHS/VCR Player", this is the brand of Video Cassette Recorder that appears in various toons, first believed to have been seen in Strong Bad Email #30. More of an inside joke is the way the mechanical problems are shown such as tracking problems, vertical rainbow visible, and the ubiquitous blinking 12:00.
The Older VCR
The Strongs' VCR originally appeared as a top-loading wood grain model. First seen on the email stand-up within Strong Sad's Room, the Totaltronics VHS shares the blinking 12:00 with the more modern version.
