There have been numerous references to The Olympics in the Homestar Runner universe.
Appearances
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 9.2- Strong Bad tells Marzipan that she should get a cable TV subscription that includes the Olympic Triplecast, which was an extention of NBC's Olympic coverage.
- The Brothers Chaps created the Original Book during the 1996 Olympics.
- 3 Times Halloween Funjob- The Cheat dresses up as Izzy, the mascot of the 1996 Olympics.
- Under Fan Stuff, there is a picture of Homestar as speed skater Apollo Ono. The comment reads "I didn't watch much winter olympics but Stephanie sure did!"
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 10- Cheerleader claims they can't go to The Ugly One's party because "they have the Olympics tonight". When it turns out to be a "b'g'rl p'rty", they call up to tell their coach that the Olympics are dumb.
