Asking for a challenge has become one of Stinkoman's catch-phrases. A challenge is an over the top stereotypical anime fight. Stinkoman also talks about fighting as a not as epic type of challenge.

• Email japanese cartoon — The theme song for Stinkoman K begins "Challenge and fighting and fighting that challenge tonight..."
• 20X6 vs. 1936 — "I'm training for fighting, or maybe a challenge" and "Are you asking for a challenge?"
• Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 8.0 — "Can I interest you in a challenge? Or maybe some light fighting?"
• Under Construction — "Correct me if I'm wrong but are you asking for a challenge?!"
• Email time capsule — "Some sort of a challenge buried in the ground?"
• Stinkoman 20X6 —
  • In the intro sequence, "STINKOMAN IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A FIGHTING OR A CHALLENGE"
  • When you start a boss fight, he asks "Are you asking for a challenge?"

    This, like all the speech in Stinkoman 20X6, is a filtered version of a line from a previous cartoon – in this case, 20X6 vs. 1936.
