Run-DMC was a hip hop trio consisting of Joseph Simmons ("Run"), Darryl McDaniels ("DMC"), and Jason Mizell ("Jam Master Jay"). A pioneering hip hop group, Run-DMC is often considered as one of the most influential acts in the genre. The group has been referenced several times in the Homestar Runner body of work, primarily by hip hop fan Coach Z.
