Run-DMC was a hip hop trio consisting of Joseph Simmons ("Run"), Darryl McDaniels ("DMC"), and Jason Mizell ("Jam Master Jay"). A pioneering hip hop group, Run-DMC is often considered as one of the most influential acts in the genre.
