- Given that this is the first Flash ever, it would appear that Pom Pom was the first character ever animated in Flash; before Strong Bad or even Homestar Runner himself, despite their status as the main characters of the site.
- In the Flash, Pom Pom bounces from the left to the right of the screen, inflating/deflating every time he touches the edges of the screen. The inflating and deflating is far more pronounced in this than on the site.
- If loaded from Old Flash Stuff, the page title is "The Original Website!". This is because it is now overlaid on the main Old Flash Stuff page instead of on a separate HTML page.
