Second Games Menu
From Homestar Runner Wiki
The Second Games Menu is an Atari 2600 themed menu, which is now found in the Museum. The concept of the menu was on moving Homestar Runner around the screen and onto icons representing the different games. According to The Brothers Chaps, it was "a little too hard to figure out".

[edit] Fun Facts
[edit] Trivia
- The back button always leads to Main Page 1.
[edit] Remarks
- The later page title contains a swear, even though the page disapproves of a potential user wanting to make Homestar Runner swear.
[edit] Real-World References
- The updated page title refers to Atari joysticks and paddles, two common control methods for Atari 2600 games.
- Tso Tsung-t'ang (the namesake of General Tso's chicken, although there is no connection between him and the meal) is referred to in the Fortune Cookies description.
- The Homestar Talker description alludes to Kids Say the Darndest Things, a show hosted by Bill Cosby.
- Helping Bubs "put his weight on it" references the dancehall exhortation of Rudy Ray Moore in Disco Godfather.
[edit] Fast Forward
- The joke structure of "Easier to use than... something easy", a simile abandoned partway through, returns in isp when Strong Bad mentions his "internet's crawling along like... something... funny... that crawls along."
