In the Homestar Runner universe, many inanimate objects are treated as characters. Not only are they treated as characters by the main cast, but they also act like characters in that they talk, move, and interact with the cast and the audience. Many of these "pseudocharacters" are Strong Bad's computers.  This is evidenced mainly in cliffhangers and retirement.

I'm hate hushpuppies.

Pseudocharacters are items in the Homestar Runner universe that at some time or another are treated (and in some cases behave) as real characters. They variously talk, move, and interact with the main characters and the audience. Most pseudocharacters are depicted as inanimate objects, though many have also appeared as sounds, locations, and even entirely fictional entities.
