The programming of the long-running children's channel, Nickelodeon, has inspired some short gags in Homestar Runner. The Brothers Chaps worked for the channel at least once, when they animated a cartoon for the Nick Jr. show Yo Gabba Gabba!
Appearances
- Email 12:00 (Easter egg) — One of the tapes in the VCR reads "YCDTOTV Season 2", for the show You Can't Do That on Television.
- Puppet Time — Homestar Runner drops off a video of Mr. Wizard.
- Email for kids — In Strong Bad's children show, he asks viewers to help him find The Cheat. This is similar to early episodes of Blue's Clues that began with the host asking the viewers to help find Blue.
- The Li'l Brudder Show — Li'l Brudder scrapes across the show's logo as SpongeBob SquarePants does in the opening of his show.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 — What's Her Face asks The Ugly One if her party will be "Nick-at-Night themed again".
