Residents of the Homestar Runner universe often reach into Hammerspace to access regularly unavailable items. Hammerspace is an imagined "storage realm" that allows cartoon characters to have access to practically any item they wish without impeding the plot or ruining comedic timing. As in most other animated works of fiction, the other characters usually make no mention of and seemingly do not respond to the appearance of the new items. It is notable that, due to a lack of a printer, it can be said that The Paper almost always emerges from Hammerspace, although the email the paper shows a printer falling too.
Appearances
- The Reddest Radish — Marzipan gets the reddest radish from Hammerspace.
- A Jumping Jack Contest — The Cheat pulls a Homestar Runner mask from Hammerspace.
- Email homsar — The Heavy Lourde falls from the sky.
- Email halloweener — Homestar Runner and the costume supplies emerge from Hammerspace, and Homestar's shirt disappears into it.
- The House That Gave Sucky Treats — The Poopsmith pulls out a sign out of nowhere, à la Wile E. Coyote.
- The Best Decemberween Ever — Homestar pulls various objects out of Hammerspace.
- Some Stupid Turkey — Several characters come from Hammerspace behind Strong Bad. An axe comes from the top of the screen to decapitate Strong Bad's turkey costume. Bread appears in the beak of the turkey after its decapitation.
- Where's The Cheat? — The toothpicks appear out of nowhere.
- Email 3 Wishes — Strong Bad draws a pencil and a piece of paper from Hammerspace.
- Email invisibility — Strong Bad apparently throws the Tandy 400 into Hammerspace until he later transfers it to his trash can.
- Email the show — The Poopsmith yet again pulls out a sign from Hammerspace.
- Email funny — A bottle of ketchup falls from the ceiling.

- Email replacement — Strong Bad pulls last name cards out of Hammerspace.
- Email other days (Easter egg) — Strong Sad procures Strong Bad's swim trunks from Hammerspace.
- Halloween Fairstival — Homestar pulls out two containers of Witch's Brew from Hammerspace. Also, in an Easter Egg, Homsar falls into frame from Hammerspace.
- Broken Compy Menu — Bubs walks up stairs from the Hammerspace below his Concession Stand.
- Homestar Presents: Presents — Coach Z pulls a Disconnected Telephone out of Hammerspace.
- Email dreamail — The strings that pull Strong Bad at the end fade in out of nowhere.
- Email geddup noise — Bubs once again exits from the Hammerspace under his Concession Stand, this time by elevator.
- No Hands On Deck! — Homestar comes out from behind the stick, and later from under Strong Sad's blankets. Homestar and Strong Sad both comment on how strange it is.
- Email cliffhangers — When on the cliff, Strong Bad pulls out the knife from Hammerspace, along with snack bags for Homsar and The King of Town.
- Email retirement — A boater hat falls onto Strong Bad's head from Hammerspace and a cane falls into his hand from Hammerspace.
- Happy Hallow-day — The Cheat pulls his keyboard to summon The Goblin out of Hammerspace. About three seconds later, The Goblin appears out of Hammerspace. Yet again, Homestar Runner seemingly pulls his 'orange-and-black flavored loose tooth remover candies' and his 'spooky yucky chew toy' out of Hammerspace.
- Email 4 branches — Homestar's "bad boyfriend" outfit suddenly appears from Hammerspace.
- Let us give TANKS! — Ripberger produces a bowl of ambrosia salad from Hammerspace.
- Email looking old — Strong Mad and Marzipan might have pulled their ideas out of Hammerspace. Also, Strong Bad's easel slides flew in from Hammerspace.
- Email unnatural — Strong Sad draws the bowl of Kashi from Hammerspace.
- Email rough copy — Strong Bad draws the soft tacos for The Cheat out of Hammerspace.
- Email the paper — Strong Bad's printer seems to fall out of Hammerspace. Also, Homestar refers to The Paper as a "time-and-space transcending piece of paper".
- Ever and More! — Bubs produces "minutes", BUBRUB, and even a Jetski from under the table.
