[edit] References
- Main Page 13 — The sound effect for Atari Strong Bad disappearing, as well as the sound for highlighting "Downloads", are taken from the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man.
- Email ghosts — The latter sound effect plays for the text that appears after "killing" the Bad Graphics Ghost.
- Everything Else, Volume 3 — The latter sound effect is used on the "Other Features" menu.
- TROGDOR! — The intermission part with Trogdor chasing the peasants resembles the intermission from Pac-Man when he chases the ghosts.
- Email the facts — The tune that Homestar Runner sings to in the Easter egg is the same tune as the intermission theme from Pac-Man.
- Email web comics — The Secret Collect. cartoon is a parody of the Pac-Man cartoon.
- Baddest of the Bands — The plot of the game is caused by Strong Bad's broken FunMachine, which causes his copy of Limozeen's Hot Babelien Odyssey to show a glitched screen similar to Pac-Man's "kill screen".
- 8-Bit is Enough — When approaching the lake in Peasantry, Homestar will refer to various fruits and "power dots", the collectible items in Pac-Man.
- Halloween Safety — In an Easter egg, Crack Stuntman takes the form of Pac-Man while explaining he's the new spokesperson for HalloweenSafety.gov.
- The Homestar Runner Enters The Spooky Woods Teaser — Strong Bad describes silhouetted The Homestar Runner as "Pac-Man with an underbite".
