Advocacy

As I said in an earlier edit on {{transcriptinprogress}}, I feel that the awareness of this page isn't as strong as it should be. I tried to modify that template and it's parent template so I could fit a note in there, but I was reminded in its reversion that its use for DVD commentaries isn't too common. What should we do to advocate for this project page? My idea is to create a {{commentaryinprogress}} template, but I'm skeptical if that kind of a step is necessary. —Soiled Bargains ^(talk|ctrb) 00:39, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

I think it needs to be added to {{dvdproofread}}, something like "Once you have proofread, please remove this marker and track at HRWiki:DVD commentary transcripts". -- Bleu Ninja 06:50, 11 July 2021 (UTC)

Project Overview Tasks

First of all, thank you @Gfdgsgxgzgdrc for completing the last of the proofread process! (Also thanks to RickTommy, Blue Ninja, and everyone else who helped proofread these DVD commentaries!)

Now, with regards to this diff, Gfd mentioned that we're "all done! except for the stuff at the top of the page." I was wondering about the first item, which says:

Now that every DVD commentary has been transcribed, they could use a second ear/proofreader. When proofreading, please pay particular attention to ensure that the speakers have been noted correctly; it's sometimes difficult to distinguish Mike's, Matt's, and Ryan's voices.

Now, for my question: Do we need a new "Second Proofreader" checkbox to go over the speakers or is it safe to consider the proofreads to have covered this and thus mark this item as complete? --Stux 18:28, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
