Intro

Hi there, I'm GuardDuck. For those of you who don't know, Guard Duck is one of the main characters in the comic Pearls Before Swine, which is probably my favorite comic ever.

My interests in Homestarrunner and the Wiki

I'm one of Bubsty's friends from school. I've been a user on wikipedia for a long time, so I know the basics about editing and such. I had actually never heard of Homestarrunner till this year, when Bubsty showed it to me. Since then, I have enjoyed it quite a bit. Bubsty then showed me the wiki, after I mentioned that I was an avid Wikipedia user, and I figured I might as well try and contribute with my limited Homestarrunner knowledge.

  • OptimisticFool — Funny and helpful. (And has another cool userpage).
  • Bubsty — Ok, I won't lie here. Bubsty did a few annoying things on this wiki, especially adding comments to talk page threads that were two years old. But he's still my best friend, and he's a lot more... mature in real life.

About Myself

Generally, I try not to give out too much info on the web, so I'll try and make this brief.

I live in Seattle, WA, am in eighth grade, and am basically your typical middle school nerd. My favorite bands are Blue Scholars, Belle and Sebastian, and, although I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, John Mayer. Seattle is definately one of my favorite cities in the world, although, quite truthfully, the country which it is in has not been doing very well in the past 7 years.
My favorite subject is Geography, by far. I love it. I can name the capital and largest city for every state/province in America, Canada, and Australia, in addition to drawing extremely detailed maps of said country. (Sorry if this sounds like bragging). I also enjoy Language Arts, Spanish, and Science. I most definitely do not enjoy math. My worst subject ever.
Australia is my favorite country ever. That and Canada. And Norway. When I get older, I'm hoping to move to either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Gold Coast, Auckland, Vancouver BC, Oslo, Copenhagen, Stockholm, or Malmo, or I could just stay here. Yeah, as you can probably see by now, I have absolutely no idea where the future leads for me.
