Name

While I don't fully believe that this article belongs, how about renaming it to "Bands from band names"? It matches the similar articles Products from modeling, Films from narrator, and Breakfast Cereals from Specially Marked. RickTommy (edits) 14:19, 19 September 2015 (UTC)

Is This Article Redundant?

This article feels like a big violation of the "Once and Only Once" rule, as all the bands here have their own pages. I want to argue that it used to have a purpose some time ago, due to the minorness of Lazor or Bigg Nife, but looking at the page histories, both bands had articles before this one was made. On top of that, Lazor's section is almost identical to the band's own article, while Bigg Nife's is similar to its page before The Archer came out.

I believe that this page should be deleted, but I'm not going to put up the "To Be Deleted" template just yet, in case others disagree. — Keegster2 (Howl at me) 00:05, 1 May 2022 (UTC)

As I recall, I suggested on Talk:band names that those bands didn't need pages of their own, and that they should be moved over here. Then this page was created without any further discussion, and nothing was done in any direction regarding deletion/merging of any of the pages. The Knights Who Say Ni 00:28, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
I think the Fast Forward section of band names b/w their individual articles do a better job of covering the content than this vague summary. Since the page doesn't have as wide a scope as something like Minor Companies or go into detail like The Periodic Table of Candy Elements there's no real way to expand this article beyond what's already covered in their individual articles, which again runs afoul of OAOO. FWIW I think Bigg Nife's article is deserved since "they've" released an actual song, while I'm not convinced Lazor needs more than a mention in Limozeen Live (practice)#Inside References. -- Bleu Ninja 01:20, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
