Webcomics

EL, you said on your user page that you read 23 different webcomics. What are some of them? --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

All the comics that I read are on this list. Have fun! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:03, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
I've only ever heard of one of those on your list. And I read a lot of comics myself. --DorianGray
What webcomics do you read? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:07, 24 October 2005 (UTC)
*takes a deep breath* The Wotch, CHEER!, College Roomies from Hell!!!, Charby the Vampirate, Sins!, VG Cats, El Goonish Shive, Zap!, KRAKOW, Two Lumps: The Adventures of Ebenezer and Snooch, Gunnerkrigg Court, Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki, Triquetra Cats, Sore Thumbs, Something Positive, Abstract Gender, Unlife is Unfair, Grim Tales from Down Below, Powerpuff Girls Doujinshi... And those are only the ones I have saved in My Favourites. (Disclaimer: Any TG theme seen in the list is entirely coincidental, I swear.) --DorianGray
Ok, I heard about some of them, other I didn't. What comics would you recommand the most? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 18:39, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
I'd have to say my top five would be, in no particular order: The Wotch, El Goonish Shive, Sins!, Charby the Vampirate, and College Roomies. They're the.. the... the best. --DorianGray
I read- Wotch, VGCats, Ctrl-Alt-Delete, and most of the ones on Wotch's Links list. --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)

Wiki Syntax

Hi, I've been recently been trying to learn as much wiki syntax as possible, and I need to one think for my Usaer page. Do you know how to change the link color so that it is the same color as the other text? I R F 12:00, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

Nevermind, I figured it out. I R F
Ok. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 16:02, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

The Amazing Backwards Troll report

LOL! Ooooops! Thanks for the fix there eh E.L.Cool! In the excitement I kinda got to focusing on getting the guy and not where I should put the stuff. It didn't dawn on me that today wasn't October 2nd, 2005... though I'd kinda like to go back to that date just once... maybe? Ah hindsight. But I digress, so thanks! --Stux 20:38, 29 October 2005 (UTC)

Well, I put all the other trolling stuff, and the guy is blocked until Satan can start making popsicles in Hell. :) Grood jorb you juys! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:48, 29 October 2005 (UTC)
I forgot to say, the same goes to you! Grood jorb! --Stux 13:40, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
Thanks, Stux! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:49, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

Hanging Stuff

Sweet new page, E.L. Nothing says "awexome" like things hanging on other things. Good jaoerb! — THE SMOKING MONKEY 13:24, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

Thanks, dude! But you also need to thank Lapper and Smileyface who helped me alot! If you look at the history of the page, you'll see it was moved twice at their advice. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:48, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

Gibberish Conversion Problem.

(LOL on addition) I wanted to mention that I apparently do not have the right Character set in order to display your Gibberish code correctly. I may be a fault of my OS or firefox, nevertheless the Gibberish characters have become unreadable, and are being substituted by other, inconsequential symbols that turn the intellectual, legible, and otherwise sensical Gibberish text, into illegible, incomphrehensible, and irrelevant (much like this message) gibberish. ;) I take too much time for leisure. --Stux 21:20, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

I anticipated that. I'll convert the symbols into proper HTML character codes. — Lapper (talk) 21:22, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
(LOL still inserted) Well, it's ok. I mailed the guys at Unicode to add them and the guys a Microsoft to add Gibberish to their core languages, but still no reply. I'm starting a protest by The Stick to get Gibberish recognized. Are you comming? Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:02, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
Alright, new year's eve party! I'll bring the party plates, uh um... I mean picket signs? --Stux 06:01, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

That Butt makes your Tofu look big

When you get the "butt look big" ending, are you using the original H*R site or a Flash decompiler? I certainly never got anything like that; all the flashes of flame I saw preceded transformations (i.e. from Homstar into something else); Homestar never changed back from anything, and I never heard the "makes your butt look big" line! —AbdiViklas 19:12, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

While I'm not decompiling the Flash file, I do watch it, not the HTML page. And also I choose option 2 every time (If this helps in any way). Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:17, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
It works, I got it... --אוקאלייליי (Ookelaylay)
Yeah; the above conversation was the result of TBC's update to the 'toon. For a brief while, there, people were seeing the new version and I, not knowing about the update, thought they had lost their minds! —AbdiViklas 02:00, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Too Much Time On Your Hands

That was YOU? Hahaha, that's the best Stupid Fact yet! Keep 'em coming. And you're right, sorting them by length is a waste of time. I'm sure glad I only sorted them by name and place. :) Thunderbird 07:28, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

Haha. Yeah, that was me. Now I'm one of the Guys Who Have Too Much Time On Their Hands. Thank you for everything you've done to me, HRWiki! :) Elcool (talk)(contribs) 11:04, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

675 ON PSYCHOMETRIC

I have to honestly say, I have no idea what that is or how good it is. What's the maximum number you can get on "Psychometric", and what exactly is "Psychometric"? More info on this apparently awsome event would be greatly appreciated. Thunderbird 00:56, 9 November 2005 (UTC)

Psychometric tests are similar the SATs people take in the USA. 200 is the minimum and 800 is the maximum. Getting 675 is saying I got more then 91% of the population. With this grade I can get to almost any university I want (Except for medicine, which requires 740 or more). I also got 146 on the English parts. Everyone getting more then 135 is free of further English studies IN HIS LIFE! I'm so happy about it, you can not believe it :) Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:44, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
Awsome, I'm really happy for you. Although in your statement above, "population" doesn't quite fit. "Total" or "Maximum" would probably be a better choices, as "population" usually refers to a number of living creatures. That's really awsome though, good job. (Just out of curiosity, are you just about finished school now then? Do you guys also have a 12 grade type system over there and everything?) Thunderbird 14:56, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
Yeah. Our system is a 12 grade one, But when I say "population" I mean "population". 91% of everyone who took this test, got lower grades than I had. As I wrote, 800 is the maximum. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 14:59, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
Ooooh, my bad. Maybe I should take that english test... I wonder if I'd pass...  :) Thunderbird 00:05, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Unfortunatly for Thunderbird and the rest of us English-hating students, I believe this test is only offered in Israel. Very nice scoring on the test, E.L. Cool. — Lapper (talk) 00:08, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Nice job, Elcool. I am just happy that I don't have to take a Hebrew test... Rogue Leader / (my talk) 00:19, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Amen to that. I have enough trouble trying to wrap my head around reading right to left... Thunderbird 01:23, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Hi! Thaks you guys! You are so awesome. The English is test is pretty easy for English speakers. It have three parts: Vocabulary (Just fill in the blanks), restatement (You have a base sentence and you have to choose what answer have the same meaning as the base one) and a reading part (You have a one page of text and you answer questions according to it). All the questions are multiple choise with four optiones. What I described here is called a chepter and you have to do two chepters on each subject (Math, Hebrew and English) with a total of six chepters and two more chepters to mess with your mind just for the heck of it. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 05:35, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Wow. So does this mean you're pretty much done highschool now then? If so, what career are you planning? Thunderbird 06:18, 10 November 2005 (UTC)
Nah.. I still have this one last year of highschool. And today there's a test in literature that I'm not gonna pass :P Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:42, 11 November 2005 (UTC)

C'mon, give me an explanation at least

You deleted the following info about the irregular lodaing screens, and I just would like to konw why. I normally wouldn't press the matter, but this was the first contribution I got a compliment for and I'd like to know.

50K Racewalker || loada... || Similar to the actual game, because you'll get to a certain point and then stop.

Thanks for your time --Jeff J. W.(Talk·Contribs)hr.png

Hmmm, I could understand why he may have deleted it. Likely because if that was the case, they would have put it as loadi... or something. loada doesn't just cut it off, it changes the word. I agree with El Coolio, it's somewhat heresay. Thunderbird 02:28, 15 November 2005 (UTC)
It's like you took the words out of my mouth, restated them and put them in a better way that I ever could. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:45, 15 November 2005 (UTC)

Good work El Coolio! Too bad he wouldn't be able to edit the Wiki at all during lockdown. Thunderbird 00:56, 16 November 2005 (UTC)
