Dongrel

Dongrels are monsters in both Thy Dungeonman II and 3. Dongrels have been described as "Snarling and Scangering" and are obviously fearsome beasts. There may be only one Dongrel in existence as Thy Dungeonman killed a Dongrel in Thy Dungeonman II and a dead one is found in Thy Dungeonman 3.

Anatomy

The only time a Dongrel is ever visibly displayed is during Thy Dungeonman 3 in skeleton form. From this image we can gather that Dongrels have (at least) two long arms and two enormous claws (with no visible thumbs) on each arm, a torso, and a rather lizard/dinosaur-like head. It is indefinable as to whether or not Dongrels have any legs, let alone anything below the torso. The five possibilities are that:

1. Everything below the Dongrel in Thy Dungeonman 3's torso has already completely decayed.
2. Dongrels have no legs to begin with.
3. That particular dead Dongrel had lost its legs before/during its death.
4. A Dongrel naturally loses its legs at some age before the age of the dead one.
5. That particular Dongrel's legs are simply not visible as they are obscured by darkness.
