In addition to cross-dressing, characters also say things that suggest they are mimicking the other gender.

Appearances

• Homestarloween Party — After Homestar Runner and Marzipan agree to arrange everyone "boy-girl-boy-girl," Homestar seats himself next to Bubs and Strong Bad next to Marzipan.
• Email 1 step ahead — In the ending where Strong Sad's hands get glued to his butt, Bubs scolds him for not being "very ladylike."
• Email kind of cool — Strong Bad boasts that Creepy Comb-over Strong Bad would still be "so cool, that even if you were a dude, [he'd] still call at you like you were a lady."
• Senor Mortgage — Senor Cardgage calls the Visor Robot "Valerie."
• Email garage sale — Coach Z counts himself as a mom.
• Senorial Day — Senor Cardgage calls Strong Bad, "Ms. America."
• Bug in Mouth Disease — Strong Bad exclaims, "Can't you see Grandma's watching her stories?" when Homestar distracts him during Caleb Rentpayer.
• Email senior prom — Strong bad with no pants on was crowned the Prom Queen.
• Summer Short Shorts — Strong Bad and Strong Mad refer to The Cheat as if he is Strong Mad's girlfriend.
• Email cliffhangers — Homestar fears he has become a pregnant woman.
• Email looking old — Strong Sad addresses lace-lifted Strong Bad as his "great-grandma".
• Email [[the movies] — Strong Bad calls Homestar "the little girl behind me who wouldn't shut up."
• One Two, One Two — Strong Bad sings that he is an independent girl.
