Uploading a New File

Hey OptimisticFool. I was wondering, how do I upload an file of an existing image. In other words, you uploaded a new file of a the New Years Eve clock from Homestar Presents: Presents. How do I do that? Sam the Man 16:00, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Below the file history on any image page (e.g. Image:homestarclock.png) is a link that says: "Upload a new version of this file". From there, upload as normal (just don't change the destination filename it fills in for you). That'll do it. OptimisticFool 16:04, 17 November 2007 (UTC)

Hey Optimistic fool. I was reading my talk page, and i found out that your signature is a little bit to big. It has to be able to fit into

Just like yours, my image is 20px high. Put yours in a box and you'll see what I mean. It's what the rules allow for. OptimisticFool 19:58, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

I just looked at it with magnification, actually, it IS outside the box, and yet, it actually IS still good. the box itself is broken, and is moving the image down by a pixel, hence, though it's not inside the box, it still FITS there. — Defender1031*Talk 20:56, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

DVD screenshot image format

Hey there, OptimisticFool — nice job uploading those images from Everything Else, Volume 3 — looking at some of them made me really hope I'm getting that DVD for Christmas!

One thing: DVD screenshots should be in PNG format. There's some debate right now about whether or not live-action toons should be in PNG format at HRWiki talk:Standards#Live action toon screenshots, so don't worry about the images I listed there for the time being, but the following images ought to be replaced with PNG counterparts:

Minor knitpicking

Hey OptimisticFool,

First of all, I wanted to say that I liked how you remade the Store Accessories page. It looks a lot more organized. However, I just wanted to remind you to be a little more careful when remaking an entire page, as some minor yet important elements can be lost. Crumbs! You're right. You see, I copied all that to a subpage in my userspace, and (of course) didn't want that to be categorized. Then I just copied and pasted what I had on that page and we lost the category. I'll do better!
