Sometimes the various characters use unusual greetings. They bear slight resemblance to conventional greetings, usually with just a different spelling.

Weclome
- 2 emails — The welcome banner for the Ladies' Choice Awards says "weclome ladies/girls".
- Malloween Commercial — Homestar Runner's doormat reads "weclome".
- Pulse Interview - May 2004 — Pulse interviews the Videlectrix CEO (Matt Chapman in disguise), who greets them with a hearty "Weclome!"
- Weclome Back — The toon is titled with this misspelling.
- Strong Sad's Severed Soolnds — Strong Bad greets the viewers this way in this episode of Skills of an Artist. This is the first time it has been said out loud.
Helscome
- Homestar Runner's Website — Homestar greets the reader with "helscome my website".
- Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True (DVD commentary) — Matt Chapman says "helscome" while quoting Homestar Runner's Website.
- Flash is Dead! (Easter egg) — Homestar Runner's Website has been turned into a "dating prolif", so this word appears again.
Haldo
- Peasant's Quest — Mendelev has Rather Dashing tell Dongolev "haldo".
- Peasant's Quest Movie Trailer — Mendelev and Dongolev greet Rather Dashing using "haldo".
- Quote of the Week — If there is a problem finding the weeklies.xml file, a soundless Quote of the Week will appear, with Homestar greeting you this way.
Hellote
- alternate universe — Vector Strong Bad greets Strong Bad with "HELLOTE". Given Vector Strong Bad's nature, this is probably an instance of Engrish.
