[edit] THAT'S REDUNDANT!

I can't think of anything that this page would document that isn't already covered on the pages for the respective teasers. Once and only once. Would make a good disambig though. — Defender1031*Talk 21:33, 26 October 2009 (UTC)

Keep — There's three of them now, which is our benchmark for "running gag" status. I definitely think this counts as a running gag. The page could be fleshed out a bit more, bit more detail on all the running-gag elements, but I think it's a keeper. --phlip TC 22:03, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Ah, you mean a running gag page similar to Fake Error Pages? yeah, that makes sense. Keep — Defender1031*Talk 22:27, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Well, since the only person that originally opposed the article now agrees with it, should we take off the {{tbd}}? MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 02:08, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I'd say it's an automatic keep. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:56, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] H'ween 2020

Should we add the 2020 cartoon here? Even though it doesn't have a separate teaser per se, it's intentionally presented as a teaser to the point where it's introduced as "Ween 2020 Silhouettes". Perhaps add in a note in the "After Waiting" column that clarifies it becomes a proper toon? Bleu Ninja 17:47, 29 October 2020 (UTC)

Now that we've agreed that it counts, what about 2024? Homestar's appearance at the end seems to allude to the teasers (silhouetted on the same gradient hill as usual), but it doesn't copy the format as blatantly as in 2020 or 2021. I'm thinking of splitting those 3 years into their own section on the page, but I'm not sure what to call it. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 23:02, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
"Not Quite Halloween Teasers" would match the titling format seen elsewhere (Not Quite Strong Bad Emails, "Not quite a Teen Girl Squad", Not Quite Puppets, Not Quite Tooty-twos) for a subhead, with a lede explaining that the following are not 'true' Teasers but still make use of the 'silhouettes on hill' format. The table can be mostly the same, but lose the "Days Until Release" column and retitle "After Waiting" to "Remarks" or something to that effect. -- Bleu Ninja 01:01, 16 November 2024 (UTC)
