Melissa "Missy" Palmer (born 1978) is the voice of Marzipan. She is married to Homestar Runner co-creator Mike Chapman.

She provides the voice of Marzipan, as well as her variations.

She co-wrote The Luau, alongside Mike and Matt. Many of Marzipan's songs are written by Missy as well,[1] such as "Oh Yeah Yeah".
She helps manage the Store, and was the producer of Trogdor!! The Board Game.
Career
She works in the film industry as a producer and assistant director. She met The Brothers Chaps through mutual friend Craig Zobel, as a producer for a movie that the Chaps were working on.[2]
On May 18, 2014, Missy released her first documentary: D'Artagnan is the Champion, about the life and times of a racing horse and his roots. Mike and Craig Zobel served as executive producers.
Personal Life
Missy started dating Mike Chapman shortly before January 2000.[3] They were married February 28, 2004.[4]
It was reported in the Flashforward 2006 Seattle - 28 Feb 2006 interview that she was pregnant. She and Mike have since had a daughter.
Fun Facts
- Missy first voiced Marzipan in The Reddest Radish. Prior to this, the character had either remained silent or only vocalized using stock sound effects. The toon Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True was cancelled before her audio could be recorded.
- The stand-in character Cardboard Marzipan was created for Happy Fireworks because Palmer was out of town and unable to record audio for toons.
- Missy appeared at Homestar Runner events at the University of Central Florida in 2004, NYU in 2005 and the 20th Anniversary Shows in 2016.
