Secret Pages with their own pages

I just removed four external links to secret pages that have their own articles: Not the 100th Email!!!, website, Strong Sad's Lament, and Email Processing Room. After doing so, I started thinking it might be worth our while to have some of the other pages that are linked to from here to have their own page. I mean, some of those old intros and stuff could use screenshots and better descriptions. So instead of a page with mostly external links, we would have a page with links to individual wiki pages about each secret page. How's that sound? -- Tom 10:20, 8 Dec 2004 (MST)

Hmm... Sounds interesting. I just made a page for "Sing Along". Some of this stuff doesn't lend itself to wiki pages particularly well, though. I suppose the previews could go on the pages that they are previewing ("Reddest Raddish" preview on the "Reddest Raddish" page), but what about stuff like "Wireless Bizness?" That doesn't need a wiki page all to itself, does it? -FatPamPam

I think it would be easy enough to judge what could use a page. And I've added Sing Along to a new Category:Secret Pages category. -- Tom 17:34, 19 Dec 2004 (MST)

Wireless Thingy

The old Wireless Bizness thing is not working anymore. Does someone have the transcripts for those emails? - The Brothers E

I've been looking for the exact same thing for a while now. I've been on Homestar for a while and I was around while it was up. I remember it being hysterical. The only one I remember from it was the Salty Plum Soda one from stu that later became the rollover button on the toons page. I REALLY want someone to find this. evin290 18:25, 13 Feb 2005 (MST)

SB Sign Explanation?

Might the "i am awesomer than you" Strong Bad "sign" actually be Strong Bad's "sign"ature on the Message Bored? Because the rules for the board imply that the characters, or at least Strong Bad, post. And it certainly seems like something Strong Bad would use on a message board.

Wonder Years

Where did this page ever come from? It's in the "/sadjournal" folder.

You might want to check out the Strong Sad's Lament and The Secrets That I Keep pages. -- Tom 22:47, 1 Feb 2005 (MST)

Can't Find Marzipan Answering Machine Message

So I've gone through all of the Marzipan answering machine messages, and I can't find one that I remember from a while back -- a prank of Strong Bad imitating Homestar Runner, saying that he'd accidentally killed someone and he needs Marzipan to meet him and bring a bunch of towels and plastic trash bags and shovels. Anyone know where I can find this little gem? Hi-larious.

Halloween 01

While I was searching for the swf file for Homestarloween (tto lazy to go to the wiki page), I tried going to "halloween01.swf", and I got this. Is this already up here and I just can't find it, or can I add it? And what is Coach Z dressed as? Pom Pom, too (no pun intended...though I think it's "the Skipper too"...no pun intended). --VolatileChemical

I can't get it to work right now (dang those secret pages!) but I believe I've seen it before. I even have a picture of it on my computer. Basically, it's the entire cast minus Homsar in their 2001 Halloween costumes - almost. Pom Pom seems to be Gilligan's Skipper, and Coach Z is a Noid (an old pizza commercial mascot). --Jay 17:16, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Marzipan is also dressed like Velma from Scooby-Doo. The chheat has a different shirt too. I wonder where The KOT's moustache went? For some reason, that bouncing dot thing on the Poopsmith's costume (on the chest of his "armor" is moving up and down and back and forth. --—Darklinkskywalker|Talk_|i did this stuff_ 22:39, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)

The bouncing dot is the LEDs from the Lazer Tag game. — It's dot com 22:47, 20 Jul 2005 (UTC)

King of Town

Does anyone know anything about http://homestarrunner.com/mainking.html

Yes --phlip 09:58, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)

If I ran the camera

I was just poking around the Wayback Machine and I found this. It doesn't seem to be on the current site and my computer is weird about some of the wayback archives. Can anybody get it to work? --mibluvr13dígame 15:42, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Secret Buying Link

Hey guys. I found a sorta sercet page. Here's a link. [1] I found it when I was buying the new dvd. --Random man 22:38, 27 Jul 2005 (UTC)

We have seen it before, but good find. User:Rogue Leader.sig

See Talk:Store#Hey Thanks. -- Tom 22:43, 27 Jul 2005 (UTC)

Sucky treats costumes?

"www.homestarrunner.com/halloween01.swf" does not exist anymore.. you get a 404'd error.. is there a mirror somewhere? if not.. someone should make one and relink it.. or something.

Works for me. —BazookaJoe 04:07, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
See Halloween Costumes#The House That Gave Sucky Treats (2001). And the link works fine for me as well. -- Tom 04:08, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
No, i mean the hidden costumes page? the one that Coach Z is the Noid, and Marzipan is Velma from scooby doo.. the costumes are on that page, but not the flash file. Its linked from Secret pages, but (on my computer anyway?) its a 404'd. -- Collin 04:12, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Most of the time secret pages are 404'd. Just try again at a later date. User:Rogue Leader.sig 04:14, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
I'm talking about http://www.homestarrunner.com/halloween01.swf, the Flash file you linked to. It works fine for me. -- Tom 04:16, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
Oh.. well i guess i'm just retarded then.. thanx though. -- Collin 04:31, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

By the way, there's a very similar conversation to this one just a few sections up. — It's dot com 04:25, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

hahahha i just get more retarded as this conversation continues.. maybe i should do soemething about this.. -- Collin 04:21, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

Wow. I was looking for that file on the Wiki a while back. Couldn't find it (guess it was in 404 mode at the time, as I remember a "Halloween" page acting oddly...) Actually, I had the picture saved to disk for reasons that I no longer remember, and conveniently made the pictures on the Costumes page from that. --Jay (Talk) 04:48, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

A mirror for the secret pages' files

I think we all agree that the old SWF files that we link to on this page do not work from time to time. I propose that Tom upload some (if not all) of these files to the wiki's mirror. Now that the forum is being hosted elsewhere (hats off to the kind individual from HomestarRules), increased bandwidth usage as a result of the mirror isn't an issue. These files, in all likelihood, are on TBC's site indefinately. When/if these files finally go the way of "A Jumping Jack Contest" and "Marshmallow's Last Stand" (albeit for different reasons) it will/would be nice to have a mirror firmly in place. I am not proposing a removal of the current link(s) to the secret page under "External Links". Rather, an additional link for those people who get 404'd on occasion. Comments? —THE PAPER PREEEOW 05:27, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)

I agree.. it would be nice to have both links in the secrets page, like Main page and Mirror.. you could put some sort of note at the top that says the mirror is there for if the pages don't work. And i'm sure the mirror wouldn't get too much bandwidth abuse since the original files are on the website, its only like backup. And if the pages do ever go on permanent haitus then its no biggie since they're on the hrwiki right? --Collin 05:22, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
