[edit] Trivia

  • This was the main menu page for April Fools' Day of 2003, complete with a King of Town Intro.

[edit] Remarks

  • The normal H*R logo (the Museum button) is replaced with a KOT logo. The King of Town says "The K.O.T.!" when you scroll over the icon.
  • There are no buttons that correspond to the normal Characters and Store buttons.
  • When the King of Town says "toon", it cuts off before the N sound.
  • The original Download button linked to a King of Town logo image captioned with "Tile it on your desktop."
  • The URL in the page title, "kingoftown.com", for a brief time in 2003 was a simple page created by fan Don Spidell that directed visitors to www.homestarrunner.com. In 2004, the page was changed to mirror Spidell's personal website; the domain expired sometime between 2005 and 2008 and is not currently active.
