Right and wrong. Wonderful answer for the riddle. I see you understand that it is '''not''' the first thing you'd think of. But, unfortunatly, that is not the one I had in mind. Obiously Strong Sad is correct.--{{User:SantanaHomerunner/sig}} 23:13, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Takin' a baby break

Hi there, SantanaHomerunner. I appreciate your efforts to add to the knowledge base, but the information you keep trying to add is already covered here. Has Matt? (talk) 20:39, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Please stop adding information to that page; all of that information (and more) is included in H*R.com updates, which Takin' a baby break should redirect to. Has Matt? (talk) 20:58, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes, please stop. If you really really think that it should be a dedicated article, then please argue your case on its talk page. But please stop editing the article itself. Loafing 21:06, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
Welcome again to the Homestar Runner Wiki. Please read the notice above and understand that you have continued to edit the content of this resource in unconstructive ways. Take a look at Help:Editing if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you.  Loafing 21:10, 10 July 2007 (UTC)

Using Show Preview

Note to Santana: This is Show Preview. Not this, this, or this. Just this. We clear? Now gimme five.

Hello SantanaHomerunner, I see that you have made several consecutive edits to the same page. I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. Using the Show Preview button is quicker and easier than saving and clicking "edit" again, and will keep recent changes and page histories from being flooded. Thanks, — Defender1031*Talk 01:40, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey again. I am sorry to say that you don't seem to have taken my advice. When editing a page that you're not sure will come out looking right, please please please use the show preview button. Even if you do think it will come out right, it's still a good idea. I myself rarely edit a page without clicking on show preview first. Thanks again, — Defender1031*Talk 20:19, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Baby Break

Hey, welcome to the wiki. Please, let me remind you that "takin a baby break" is not a Toon, so it doesn't belong on the All Toons article. Secondly, I reverted the edits you made to Jackie Chapman on the basis that all the links you added were essentially the same links which appeared in the paragraph above. I hope you understand why these edits were undone, and hope you can continue to contribute positively to the wiki. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 02:05, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Hgfjhgfdnxgfd

Hey there SantanaHomerunner . I see you created the page hgfjhgfdnxgfd. That is not part of Homestar Runner (body of work). Creating pages for no reason could get you blocked by a sysop. I see you got the "Create The Page" attitude, which is good, but don't overdo it like creating pages for no reason. Thanks, User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 18:37, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

About your recent tests...

Thanks for experimenting with the Homestar Runner Wiki. Your test (At hgfjhgfdnxgfd and sbluukhed) worked, and has now been reverted or removed. Please use HRWiki:Sandbox for any other tests you want to do, since testing in articles will normally be reverted quickly. Please see the Help:Editing page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our resource. Thanks. Mario2.PNG Super Martyo boing! 19:24, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

Sockpuppets

This is not cool. Don't do it again. — SomeGuyerson..erson.

Yes, listen to him, he's right. It's called sockpuppetry, and if you try that for real, you'll be blocked for a while. Loafing 02:58, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Reply from deleted talk page

Alright DeFender1031. I've got a response for you. Nice job. What your saying makes alot of sense. I am just over-eager to write my very own article being so new to the site. Also, I can understand why it is hard to be jokingly emotional through the internet. Maybe if I put something like (sniffle) up there. I have changed my mind. Delete it. It has to be done.
I know. I've seen this phenomenon a hundred times. New users who want to make a difference so much that they will fight for stuff that they wouldn't otherwise. By the way, if you want to make a good page, there seems to be a lot of Cheese in the HR universe. I was planning on starting it, but it would be a big project and haven't got the time or the patience right now. Why don't you start it out and i'll help with the cleanup and stuff? this is a good starting point if you're interested. — Defender1031*Talk 19:20, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Cheese

Thank you for creating the article Cheese. I never even thought of creating cheese. Keep this up and you might even win an award. Oh, and if you need any help at all, feel free to ask me anything. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 12:03, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

cool user page

If you want to make a cool user page and fill it with a bunch of stuff, i don't mind if you get ideas from my page, the only thing is, like, the homsarmy wants YOU, so like ya, tell all your friends to join. --Kanjiro talk 23:20, 13 July 2007 (UTC)

New Articles

Hey, Santana. This is a touchy type of subject, but I hope you can take a touch of criticism. Thing is, many of your recent new article ideas have been, with lack of a better description, lackluster. It seems to me at least that you're trying to make more articles despite their being needed, which is absolutely the wrong approach. Articles which are needed absolutely just happen - you never need to force them. I'm guessing you see a need to create more articles to establish yourself, and I'm here to tell you that's not so - you can never create an article and still be seen as a good user. Many have. Please turn your focus from new article creation to something more productive, like cleaning up existing articles or correcting errors. Thanks a heap. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:36, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Hey, man. I was just thinkin' and wonderin'. Do you think that making something like "Homestar Runner holding stick-like objects". Would be a necessary article or is that pushing it. I mean he holds a Spoon in army-related toons and he held a Drumstick in Ever and More. Maybe I should make Spoon instead. Also, I will try to help the site instead of being...for lack of a better word...selfish-ish.Super!SantanaDuper! P.S. What does (UTC) mean?
Yeah, that's definitely unnecessary. You're poking into trivia and trying to make something big ouf of something little. Let it go. Tell you what - no new pages for a while. I think that would do you well - you'd be able to contribute in other ways, and get time to see what will and won't work, which is essential in being a good editor here.
BTW, UTC refers to the standard time on the wiki, which happens to be GMT. Google it. And I don't think you are being selfish, you just want to be a part and that's so cool. I'm just trying to advise you against makijg more pages whem most of yours are deleted or well on their way. Just trying to help. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 23:20, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Trivial Pursuit

Do we answer your questions on this talk page, if so the answers are:

Easy: Strongbadman

Medium: I'm not quite sure what you mean on this one, but if you mean what his left hand would be from new hands it is a bullhorn.

Hard: Crazy cartoon, or duck pond, or invisibility, or i she be.

--Kanjiro talk 23:16, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Oh, and the riddle, it would be there both the same hight as arranged on his face, or if you mean by just an individual eye it would be the left. --Kanjiro talk 23:21, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Proof.

I think i figured out medium, is it... Fat Bluebird as seen in strong bad sings?--Kanjiro talk 23:37, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Week of July 26, 2006

Easy: What is Strong Bad's baby brother's name?

Medium: What is the first variation of Strong Bad?

Old-Timey Strong Bad from Kick the Can

Difficult: Who is the person who Strong Bad first said the name of wrong to be funny?

Answers

Alright. The first one is right. The Second is right, now it is anyway. ONE of your answers for the third one is right. Tell me which by considering Strong Bad typing stars. Also, where are they in i she be? Anyway, I'm sorry about the riddle but I could not come up with any better. Just disregard the spelling of eye. I thougt that would give it away. But feel free to copy the easy question userbox thing onto your userbox and the medium. Thanks for playing. Also, you'd be suprised to know that I like japanese culture too. I mostly like the architecturial designs and art but I like the culture too. I try to style my room accordingly.Super!SantanaDuper!

It is crazy cartoon, but in i she be when the cheat is talking to that girl she uses a star, i know strong bad didn't use it, but all i did was go through all of the emails and use command f with * so i didn't check who uses it. By the way, can i still get the riddle userbox? いぬ が うち に います か --Kanjiro talk 00:00, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
Sure. Answer the riddle. It is easy. Just think about "I" and where Bubs might have it. When you produce an answer that is the one I had in mind, you may take the userbox.

If you want to try the Hard again, you may. Super!SantanaDuper!

Is the hard one duck pond? Is the riddle Something? (i still have know idea what you mean) --Kanjiro talk 00:33, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Oh. You got em' all. You were right with crazy cartoon. Look on the top of the stand for the riddle. I might as well give you a hint 'cause your the only one who gives a care. Thanks. Super!SantanaDuper!

You mean the sign that says Bubs conces5ion stand? That only has one i in it? So that means... The answer is... THERE IS ONLY ONE I!!! You scam artist! You ripped me off! I hope your happy with your self...rip off artist. --Kanjiro talk 01:55, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Congrats!

You are this weeks parson of the week! --Kanjiro talk 16:07, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Suggestion

I think you should make the words for your userboxes smaller by adding Your words here So they don't look as big. --Kanjiro talk 16:22, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

About histories

It might be worth me telling you now that all edits to any page on the wiki are recorded in the page's history. This means we know exactly who wrote what and when, and when they changed anything. I say this because you recently claimed to have written the word "defy" rather than "defile", when the history shows that you actually changed it. So in the future, better to just say, "Yeah, I wrote the wrong word, but now I corrected it." Heimstern Läufer 02:40, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

I had commented on your misreading (?) of "defied" as "defiled", and my intent was to be sure you were on track and on point regarding what was said in that talk. When you later changed it and claimed you had originally said "defied" I kinda felt like my efforts in trying to help were wasted. Fortunately, I'm pretty indefatigable (is that really a word? yes is is indeed...), so I took it in stride, but some future editor would maybe be really put off by such a tactic, and lose respect. You do not want that. It's always best policy to never reform the past; admit your mistakes and carry on. We all make them, and I guarantee I've made more than you. Bigger ones too. So admit your screwups, and carry on with better contribution. That's what I do. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 03:12, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Alright. I will answer both of you. First of all I know about the history section, and secondly I admit to making a mistake by thinking Loafing said defile. I will take everything very seriously and never joke again. Unless infact what I just put was a joke. In which case I am lying. And I am. Which I don't often. I kid. I joke. Not lie. Nor fib. Just wanted to get that straight. Not like I thought you thought that about me. Just clearing that up because with lifeless letters on a screen, that is hard to tell. Super!SantanaDuper! P.S. I know you make mistakes as well. "...is is indeed..." Just Kidding. Hey, I'll just put that all of the time. Or, when I want somone to take something lightly. (UTC)

User:SantanaHomerunner/sig2

SantanaHomerunner, this subpage is unnecessary. You do not need two signatures; you could just as easily put the signature code on your userpage or simply replace the old sig with the new one. I'm putting your second signature up for deletion, as it does not meet the subpage guidelines. Has Matt? (talk) 20:53, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

How do I say, stop this. Or, do I not have a say?--Super!SantanaDuper! 20:59, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Can you explain how a second signature counts as a valid subpage? Has Matt? (talk) 21:05, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I can. But first. You have to explain why it should be deleted. And if you just redirect me to some help page...well...I obviously need a little more direction.--Super!SantanaDuper! 21:13, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
As I said above, I think it should be deleted because I feel it's unnecessary. How are you going to use this second sig? Are you going to switch between sigs every now and then, or is it just there for show? Both uses seem rather pointless. Perhaps if you could tell me how you are planning to use this subpage, I could explain in greater detail. Has Matt? (talk) 21:20, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Answering two questions here. A subpage is generally permitted only in cases where the content won't readily go on your user page, but the content is also beneficial in some way to the wiki. For example, a talk page archive, a page-in-progress which will eventually be an article, a signature, all these would be valid subpages. Guestbooks, pages meant only for chat, things which can easily be on the userpage like userboxes or such, these aren't. As you only have one signature at a time, you could edit your current sig to the new version, then revert back to whatever version you want to use (keeping in mind, though, that it's a good idea to be consistent so as not to confuse others). That's why a subpage isn't needed.
The other answer: yes, you do have a say in everything that happens on a wiki. Feel free to start a talk thread on HRWiki Talk:User Space and see how others feel about current user space policy. If there is consensus that a new way of doing things is a good thing, then things will change. But remember, you aren't the only one in the community with a say: everyone does. Therefore, expect others to disagree, and debate them with respect for everyone's right to a point of view. Hope this helps clear stuff up. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 21:23, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing that up, Qermaq. I'm not too good at explaining stuff like this. Has Matt? (talk) 21:34, 25 July 2007 (UTC)
