The Thing's Sig
Looks like it's still messing up the list. Could it be the "1" at the end of the template name or something? ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 21:56, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Are you sure it's still broken? Looking at NFITC1's guestbook, the problem appears to be fixed. Maybe it's just my PC, but still... --ENUSY 22:02, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I just fixed it. I put Something like this after his template, and it works fine now. Try hilighting the end of The Thing's Comment, and you'll see. I think it's just because it's named "sig1", namely the "1" is restarting the number list. Somebody should let him know. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:04, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I just checked the revision before your edit (this one) and the problem appears to be fixed. So if the problem is still happening then there is a problem with the 1 restarting the number list. --ENUSY 22:08, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- o.O
- Oh. I see then. Oh well, at least I tried. Guess you fixed it. Good job. :) ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:12, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I took care of it. He was missing quotes around the color names. — It's dot com 22:17, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Dot com saves the day again. I just realized it was you in the recent changes a second ago. Thanks man! ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 22:18, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- I realize this is more than a month late, but I'd like to point out that I fixed a very similar problem in Has Matt's signature a while back. Turned out to be mismatched <span> tags. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:17, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Hiya!
Hey I was wondering if you would like screensavers of your favorite homestarrunner toons?
-Teh C.
- Yes please. Can I request rock opera and Fall Float Parade please? --ENUSY 13:42, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

Help With Something
Hey, Venusy. Seeing as you're pretty much the only person around right now, I have something to ask you. How do I check out the number of views on my userpage? — Has Matt? (talk) 13:05, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
- Look at the bottom of the page. You'll see something like this:
This page was last modified 00:45, 2 January 2006. | This page has been accessed ???? times. | First time here? | Disclaimers
- I hope that answers your question. --ENUSY 13:11, 6

Help With Something Else
Hey Venusy-
How do I get weeklies.xml on my compy? I can't even view the file with an XSL thing. I DON'T KNOW WHAT XSL IS!!!! So help would be gr8. LePorello / T / C 21:47, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- Right click and "Save Target As..." ("Save Link As" in IE?). Then open the file in any text editor, such as Notepad. The XSL thingy... I don't know what that is either. --ENUSY 21:52, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- Just to answer the question on what an XSL is: XSL stands for "eXtensible Stylesheet Language" and is similar to XML. An XSLT file dictates a literal translation between an XML file and a browser-friendly HTML file. (.XSL is probably the same as .XSLT.) See this link for more info. — KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:09, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
I think it's "Save Background As", as I have IE, AND IT WON'T LET ME DO IT! Sooooooo, what next?LePorello / T / C 22:18, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
- Are you trying to do it on the weeklies.xml page itself? What I meant was to save target as on a page that linked to weeklies.xml, such as the example below. --ENUSY 22:29, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
Ohhhhhhh. I'll try it now. LePorello / T / C 19:26, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
First: It is "Save Target As...". Second: I can't view my new QoW. How do I do that? LePorello / T / C 19:35, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Have you put the weeklies.xml in the weeklies folder? And qod.swf in the folder one level up from the weeklies folder? --ENUSY 19:46, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
Both weeklies.xml and qod.swf are in the weeklies folder. Is that right? LePorello / T / C 20:09, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- No. If both are in the weeklies folder, then the swf is looking for weeklies/weeklies/weeklies.xml. qod.swf should be placed in the folder that contains the weeklies folder. --ENUSY 20:12, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
All right. I'll have to do a summary. In my "My Documents" there is a folder. In the folder is the Weeklies folder and qod.swf. In the weeklies folder is weeklies.xml. Is that right, 'cuz it still doesn't work. LePorello / T / C 20:25, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's right. I'm not sure why it still isn't working. Unless the weeklies folder has to be lowercase or something. --ENUSY 20:28, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
The problem's with opening the qod.swf file. Don't know how to fix it. Everything else is fine and dandy. LePorello / T / C 00:05, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think the problem is that you need to set up your computer to play .swfs using Internet Explorer (or Firefox). Right click and hit Open With.... That should fix the problem. --11945 (Talk/Ctrbs) 00:14, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
Didn't work. LePorello / T / C 00:41, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- New theory: It could be the flash. I'm not sure if I have Flash 7 or 8 (I think 7, sed I'm not sure). Advice? LePorello / T / C 01:30, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- I have no clue. To be honest, I started having no clue from this point. I think that you only need Flash 7 to make it work, but I'm not sure. --ENUSY 18:37, 1 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I do as well, and it still works. One last try. You have right clicked on qod.swf, selected "Open With", and done what is suggested in the picture to the right. --ENUSY 22:36, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Didn't work. LePorello / T / C 22:47, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I think I've run through absolutely everything I can think of. It'll probably end up being something really really stupid. Does the swf file actually open? If it does, and the box appears to be frozen at the side of the screen, right click and hit play. And that is definitely everything. --ENUSY 22:53, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Just as a sanity check, try putting these files in a folder off of C:\ that has no spaces in its name, like c:\hsr\weeklies or something similar. Some programs don't properly work with folders that have spaces, like "My Documents". — KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:05, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
That did it. THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! LePorello / T / C 23:07, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Glad to be of service. :) — KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:18, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
I mean the right-click-and-click-play thing worked. Sorry for not mentioning the right-side-of-screen thing (I should have mentioned it like a million years ago) before. LePorello / T / C 23:20, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah, that would kinda make a difference. So it does work if you put it in "My Documents"? — KieferSkunk (talk) — 23:45, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
Friend Code
venusy, i don't want to seem like a stalker, but if you want your friend code to be useful, you are going to have to get mine, and sadly enough, within 30 feet of me. that's just the regulations. so basically, i know you are not going to do that, so your code is useless to anyone who doesn't know you. sorry. 69.162.201.219 23:54, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
- What about the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection? I mean, I've linked up with several total strangers using that and AC Live. And my friend code is useless to all that know me for the moment, as AC:WW isn't out over here yet. --ENUSY 08:02, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- EDIT: Seriously, is that you? Looking at your contributions, you changed a sig at one point from 69.162.201.219 to Seriously.
response well, actually it is not seriously. it is his brother. and i think that my ds (and my brother's) is just messed up temporarily. maybe i have to change the configuration. i just want to try it out, like i did with nintendogs. Thatkidyoualllove 17:26, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- well, i think maybe if i told my friendcode on my userpage it might work.......i really don't know what my friend code is thought...Seriously (Talk) 00:06, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- If you need to find out what your friend code is, just go and see Copper over at the town gate. Make sure that you can connect to the Nintendo WFC though, otherwise it won't work. --ENUSY 10:02, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

Monobooks
If I give you credit, can I use the alternate HRWiki Logo code in your monobook? - X On Fire (SSX)
- Yes you can. You don't really need to give me credit either, I borrowed the code from here and modified it. --ENUSY 22:02, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thank you very much! I'm on dial-up, and am tricked by those fake ones, and it wastes my time, so I needed this. Bluebry 22:42, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Umm, after a second hearing, it said it would also change users megages too. Oh well. I'll figure something out with that code. Bluebry 22:43, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- It works! The users fake ones are changed to green so I know when I have new messages or not! Thanks! Bluebry 22:56, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- Are you sure the fake ones have been changed? I just checked my userpage, which features a few fake usermessages, and they appear blue to me. --ENUSY 00:01, 9 February 2006 (UTC)
- Yep. It's green. Bluebry 01:54, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
/* user notification thing */ .usermessage { background-color: #b0c4de; border: 1px solid #7b68ee; color: #808080; font-weight: bold; margin: 2em 0em 1em 0em; padding: 0.5em 1em; vertical-align: middle; }
- Just copy and paste that into your monobook.css, and clear your cache. --ENUSY 13:16, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
EDIT: Whoops! Just checked your userpage. Try using this for making parts of your userpage grey/gray.
- Just copy and paste that into your monobook.css, and clear your cache. --ENUSY 13:16, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

You have copied and pasted the code above (the one starting with "/* User notification thing */" into your monobook.css and cleared the cache, haven't you? This talk thread was started in response to this thread on Bluebry muffin's talk page. --ENUSY 13:50, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
Thank you so much for helping me once again. One question, though: How do I clear my cache? Seriously (Talk) 13:52, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- Depends on your browser. Mozilla / Firefox / Safari: hold down Shift while clicking Reload, or press Ctrl-Shift-R (Cmd-Shift-R on Apple Mac); IE: hold Ctrl while clicking Refresh, or press Ctrl-F5; Konqueror: simply click the Reload button, or press F5; Opera users may need to completely clear their cache in Tools→Preferences.
- Okay. Did that. It didn't do anything to my userpage. What do I do now? Seriously (Talk) 13:58, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- That wasn't exactly what I meant. This is:
- Now my userpage looks awesome. How do I do even more different colors, though? I just want to know how to change the color myself. Seriously (Talk) 14:17, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- Change the code after "background-color:". Replace "#eeeeee" with one of the colours listed on this Wikipedia article. --ENUSY 14:26, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

Banjo Tooie
That was a cool game. Ihad to beat it with cheats. Now I miss it. Bluebry 01:53, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
- I had to beat it with cheats as well. Though one time, I managed to get the HAG-1 down to 1HP in the replay mode, but she killed me with that big spell of hers. --ENUSY 18:42, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
- Grood game. I didn't have to use cheats, but it always tormented me that I couldn't get this one Jiggy/cheeto page. It is the one in the last level when you race the canary women. She always left me in the dust. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 05:08, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- I couldn't do that one either. That race cost me an N64 controller, as I basically wrecked it by using the ballpoint pen method (and chucking it at the wall out of frustration). --ENUSY 13:50, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

- Could be... But Dr. Who's usernames are normally variants on the name Dr Who instead of parodies of existing users. Though I suppose he could've done it this time to cause maximum damage. I don't know. --ENUSY 13:33, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
