As much as I think that this article is well written and researched, I think the creator was mistaken in categorizing it. When Bubs said "This is the black market", I don't think he meant that this place is a black marketplace. He was referring to the concept of black market. Now, if this is a concept and not a place, this the article inclusion guidlines now states that more then one reference is not enough. It needs to be more then 5 for this common real-world concept. As it stands right now, the article lists 4 references, which is plainly not enough. I stress again the article looks great now. But unless someone shows that black markets are more prevalent in Homestar Runner, I think the article have to go. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:40, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

First of all, I could hear the argument for it being a place in both licensed and SBTF. Secondly, with 4 references, which is only one less than 5, I think this article is interesting enough to be worth bending the guideline a bit, though i think it should have separate sections for THE black market that is the place at back of bubs's and the black market which is the concept of illegal business. — Defender1031*Talk 20:29, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, I've updated the page and tried to clarify the difference between concept and place. Just wasn't sure what to do with the category. Tell me if the page is better now. LePorello / T / C 12:11, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
You've done well, LePorello, but this is still a train wreck. You just made it a train wreck with chracter and dignity. I suggest we throw out Peasant's Quest and just make the article about Bubs' market. The PQ thing was just a throw-away gag, related to this concept as much as an elephant is related to a bull. Same general idea, but not close enough to merge. Throw away PQ and then keep. In that order. Would that make it better, or worse? Or... neither? --Jellote wuz here 12:49, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, I'll try that. Might work better. LePorello / T / C 22:48, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
No offense, but I think it was better before (I think it was fine before you implemented Jellote's suggestions). -128.103.10.119 02:45, 1 September 2009 (UTC)
No offense, but I think it's better now that the concept has been clarified. Originally, the article referred to an actual black market in the Homestar Runner universe, a throw-away gag from Peasant's Quest and a mention in the Dangeresque universe. Mentions of the word "black market" alone isn't very useful content for an article so they should have been removed. Now this article is more focused than before since it refers to the actual place alone. I'd say it's worth keeping, mainly for the Known Items Sold list. – The Chort 12:47, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
I still say we should have a section for "other black markets". — Defender1031*Talk 18:58, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I've added a separate section listing mentions of black markets other than Bubs'. Now everyone should be happy! :D – The Chort 14:40, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
Well, the black market is in contrast to the original store, but is still related. So, I would vote to Merge with the Stand. However, it states more than just that and since we couldn't do anything with the other half that's not about the illegal half of the store run by Bubs (y'know, the reality of black markets) if the section about the illegal half of the store run by Bubs was gone. So, I have to say keep. — Stavey the Stupid Hippie 22:24, 7 December 2009 (UTC)
Maybe we should merge this with this Bub's shady business practices page. Guybrush20X6 19:19, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
There's very little content on that page and much of what is here would not fit there, nor would the inverse. I actually thought about suggesting that that page be merged here, then reconsidered and realized that that could be a great page on its own once developed. — Defender1031*Talk 19:21, 2 May 2010 (UTC)
