[edit] Females dressing as Males
Should we add those to this page? If so we would either change the page's name or make a different page.
- Good idea. And it confirm to the suggested name Cross-dressing. Any objections? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:26, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Name Change
Nice running gag page, but there's ought to be a better name for it. Any suggestions? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 12:32, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- May I suggest Cross-dressing? Rogue Leader / (my talk) 13:53, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Scope of the page
I think this would be a more useful article if we focused solely on Strong Bad, as it really seems to be a running gag of his character. The other instances are tenuous connections at best. — It's dot com 19:39, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- But if the name was changed to Cross-dressing, then we could include Marzipan dressing up as males (Specialy in Halloween and as Bob Ross). — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 19:44, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- Plus, we coul include Cheerleader as some type of blues guy in Teen Girl Squad Issue 8.
- That's true, but I don't really find those to be worthy of an article. — It's dot com 20:04, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
- There's been more cross dressing by other characters than Strong Bad has done on the site even thou half the things here are about Strong Bad. And if you want to make it just Strong Bad, you should put them on a seperate page and the others could be another page. Just an idea.

Back to scope, and my reasons for removing some facts:
- Coach Z pretends to be "Hot Girl #37" by putting on her nametag. This is cross-dressing? No, this is clearly just Coach Z picking on Strong Bad.
- Strong Bad imagines that Homsar is a "modestly hot girl". This is Homsar being transformed, not being dressed up.
- Strong Bad pretends Lord Quackingstick is the mermaid, Princess Shellbra, in his own self-portrait. Lord Quackingsmith is a stick, folks. And a one-off gag, if I recall. And again, this is not dressing in any stretch of the animation. - Qermaq - (T/C)

- About restricting the pg to SB: I didn't really realize until I read this the frequency with which Marzipan's picked a male costume for Halloween. 3 out of 6. SB's case is special because other charactars draw attention to it, but this seems kind of like a corollary. —AbdiViklas 00:00, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The stuff they say
What would be the right thing to call a section including instances such as these, where they don't really crossdress but still act like the other gender:
- Email garage sale — Coach Z counts himself as a mom.
- Summer Short Shorts — Strong Bad and Strong Mad refer to The Cheat as if he is Strong Mad's girlfriend.
- Email cliffhangers — Homestar fears he has become a pregnant woman.
- One Two, One Two — Strong Bad sings that he is an independent girl. Bad Bad Guy 16:22, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Maybe we should create a new article for Gender Confusion? – The Chort 16:52, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge?
Should the contents of this article be turned into subsections of Gender Confusion? Bad Bad Guy 19:31, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- I would say no merge, as the two are completely separate gags. Loafing
20:51, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- Don't merge. Just because someone dresses up in drag, doesn't mean they think they're a different gender. The only expections on the site are Mr. Pitters from Teen Girl Squad Issue 9 and Coach Z in Date Nite. – The Chort 21:54, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Homestar in Daisy Duke's
Is this really all that much of crossdressing? guys do wear tiny shorts from time to time. Same thing for the cheat in the apron. Yes it's womanly but its not exactly womans wear. Forddude1416 04:37, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- The Cheat's apron is very feminine, and guys that wear aprons generally wear ones that are plain white and say something on the front, like "Steak Lover" or something. So it is a reference. SuperfieldCreditUnion
