Talk:Onion Bubs

From Homestar Runner Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search
Ding! Onion Bubs is a featured article, which means it showcases an important part of the Homestar Runner body of work and/or highlights the fine work of this wiki. We also might just think it's cool. If you see a way this page can be updated or improved without compromising previous work, feel free to contribute.

It's dead obvious that this page should be merged with Other Character Variations. Bad Bad Guy 17:27, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

That was what I was going to suggest. This variation is too minor for its own article. Heimstern Läufer 17:29, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
I was thinking we create a page called Other Bubs or something like that. Other then that, I say merge with Other Character Variations. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 17:48, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Hey, Sam. Cow Puncher here. Well anyways, i say MERGE. Numa Numa!! (T*C)
Oh, your Cow Puncher on The Fanstuff Wiki? Well anyways you should talk about you being Cow Puncher on my talk page. Oh, but the merge thing you said is perfectly fine. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 17:54, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

I think it should stay apart. I mean, maybe Onion Bubs will show up again, like Lil Brudder and Stinkoman. [some guest]

That is speculation. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 17:38, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
And if it *does* return, we can simply recreate the page. For now, it's not needed. Merge -YKHi. I'm Ayjo! 18:47, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
And guess what? It did! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 10:10, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
Merge, Merge, MERGE!!!Platinum789hi
It's appeared enough to warrant a keep. Espemon333 22:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
The conversation was closed over half a year ago. We agreed to bring it back if it reutrned. It did. Case closed.--Jellote wuz here 22:49, 4 September 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Inspiration?

Well, I was looking through some Majora's Mask artwork. And guess what? Something popped out.

Encircled in white, and pardon my sloppiness.

It's known that the Chaps were Zelda fans, so could this have been subconscious inspiration?--FIFTH GREG! HRWiki Greg 20:01, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Oh my. So it is. Uncanny, actually. I don't know where to put it, but that seems like a reference.--Jellote wuz here 20:23, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
I think not. I think onion bubs is just bubs drawn on an onion, not a reference to this. This isn't even an onion! I think it's just coincidence that it looks similar. — Defender1031*Talk 20:37, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
Perhaps a coincidence, but worthy of mention. Sure, it's not an onion, but that's what I think when I see a shape like that.--FIFTH GREG! HRWiki Greg 06:40, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Worthy of mention where? If you mean on the article, no, I don't agree. Here on the talk, page, sure. Heimstern Läufer 06:45, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
Well, yeah. That's pretty much it. Umm...It's not really doin' much now.--FIFTH GREG! HRWiki Greg 06:49, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
