No. Any attempt to merge would get awkward. A page called "Irregular pronunciations for 'Pumpkin'" just wouldn't work as well as these two short and sweet articles. — Defender1031*Talk 01:38, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Count again. There's 3 instances of pumpakin and 4 of this. they just happen to overlap. That said, it looks like i'm gonna get voted down here, but i just want to say, if i hadn't made these simultaneously, and instead let one settle in before making the other, i feel like this wouldn't have been suggested, and they'd have remained separate pages. Why not merge them into an all-encompassing Pumpkins article that includes the text from these as subsections as well as a treatise on its prominence in halloween-related toons? EDC--Stux 02:45, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

I dunno. I'd kinda like us to make a provisional Pumpkins article to see how it all would fit together before giving a firm opinion on whether that would be the best way to go.
