United Kingdom, eh? This means to include any references to Scotland and the other UK areas, if there are any, yes? --DorianGray 07:15, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
- Well Scotland, as well as Wales and Northern Ireland are part of the UK so I'd say so. --SaltyTalk! 08:18, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] I'm not so sure about this page...
Two of them were only in response to emailers' locations, and as for DangerMouse? That's a bit of a reach to say it's a "reference to" the UK. I mean, do we have a page for Japan for all the times Nintendo is mentioned? Maybe with some better examples. --Jay (Gobble) 21:29, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think that if it were expanded to include accents and spellings and stuff... it might be passable. — Defender1031*Talk 21:30, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah, a better example would be the second commentary in From the Vault. Heck, I'd take candy product's "BBC" joke over the Dangermouse thing. --Jay (Gobble) 21:31, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
- I think we better do over this article. Nothing mentioned on the article or this talk page so far refers to the United Kingom as a country. Most of them are just appearances of stereotypical British accents, whether it's The Announcer or TBC messing about on the DVDs. Wouldn't it be more appropiate if this page was called something like...um, Sterotypical British Accents instead? – The Chort 12:48, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- With about half the references being "This TV show came from the UK", nevermind that they were broadcast in the US, and the other half being more or less incidental, I don't really think we have enough for an actual page here. I agree with something regarding stereotypical British accents, but having a page for everything remotely related to the UK just doesn't... *work*. -YK

This discussion has never really reached a solid consensus on what should be done to make this article work, if anything, but there does seem to be consensus against keeping the article in its current form. Therefore, I've deleted it. If users are interested in resurrecting this page as being about British accents and such, cool by me. Heimstern Läufer 09:20, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
