Second design

2000 The King Of Town (old version); Old Characters Page; Character Cards; Dancin' Bubs; Yearbook Character Page (in photo) The King is not quite as wide. His mustache is less curly and his crown is larger. He is drawn with thicker outlines and many of his colors have been adjusted, and he no longer has any shading.
Third design

2022 Costume Pack Now Available

His mustache is now white, matching his face. His robe is a deeper red with a pure white trim; his crown is now yellow with a yellow-orange circle. His face is lower on his head. Outlines are thinner, neater, and colored. He has shading throughout, including metallic shading on his crown.

In The Luau, his robe is wider at the bottom like his next design.

Fourth design

This is the current design. 2002 Toons starting with Where's The Cheat?; various Strong Bad Emails starting with your friends His body has more of a bell-curve shape, with higher shoulders and a wider base; the robe's trim is bulker and shaded. His head is lower and more forward on his body, giving him a slouched appearance. His crown tends to rest further back on his head and has simpler shading. He has a darker outline that varies in width, as well as more detailed shading on his face.

In some toons, this version of the King of Town has the crown of the previous design. Starting with parenting, he has two new mustache designs when he talks.
