The Poopsmith is not amused.

Because of his vow of silence, The Poopsmith had to find alternative ways of communicating. One of them is by holding up signs (pulled out from hammerspace), à la Looney Tunes character Wile E. Coyote. The font originally used on these signs, Peanuts, is modeled after the lettering used in the comic strip Peanuts.

[edit] Appearances

  • Marshmallow's Last Stand — The Poopsmith holds a sign saying "I'm #2" while in the crowd with the other spectators.
  • The House That Gave Sucky Treats — If you give The Poopsmith and Pom Pom the Mary Jane candy as their treat, The Poopsmith holds up a sign that reads "Give us something good instead", to Pom Pom's amusement.
  • Email the show — While Homestar Runner talks to him, The Poopsmith holds up a sign reading, "Hey, um, I'm gonna go now." He then leaves The Show.
  • Jibblies 2 — When he and The King of Town get the jibblies, his mouth quivers and he holds out a sign that says "Jibblie Jibblie".
  • Homestar Ruiner — When The Poopsmith notices that Strong Bad is trespassing in The King of Town's Castle, he holds up a sign either saying "!!" or "You Again?!". Somehow, this summons over Strong Mad from one or two rooms over. When Strong Bad enters the vent The Poopsmith has signs that say "?" and "???". When he mans Bubs' Concession Stand in the absence of Bubs, he has a sign that reads "Half off all whatsit".
  • Strong Badia the Free — When Homestar and the Poopsmith battle in Maps and Minions, Homestar kicks the Poopsmith, who responds by holding up a sign that says "Ouch!" and retreating.
  • Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — When Strong Bad as Dangeresque saves The Poopsmith, who plays a kidnapping victim, he holds up a sign that reads, "I'm saved!" When Dangeresque says that he was a little girl who now became a beautiful woman, he holds up a second sign reading, "Awwww thanks".
  • 8-Bit Is Enough — The Poopsmith (as Mista Fixit) holds up a sign that says "Let's build something!" while holding a pixelated hammer. He also has a sign covered with illegible squares. Also, when Strong Bad asks how much it would cost to build a 200-foot wall around Marzipan's house, The Poopsmith responds by holding up a sign with "$$$" on it. (At first, Strong Bad interprets this as "three dollars" before The Poopsmith corrects him.)
  • Haunted Photo Booth — Pom Pom holds a speech bubble reading "Why are we in this cartoon?", to which the Poopsmith responds with a speech bubble reading "Don't know. Don't care."
  • Halloween Hide & Seek — The Poopsmith makes extensive use of his signs throughout the game to respond to other characters.
