Many sites will offer free website redirection and will mask the real address (this is what I do). <s>Two</s> A good place is [http://www.godaddy.com godaddy.com] which is dirt cheap and offers lots of features, and is the only registrar I use at this moment. <s>and [http://www.namesdirect.com/ names direct] which offers a couple (not really that many) of other features but at a greater expense per year</s>. I think I will no longer be reading my current news from regular, hyped up news franchises, but instead from a '''truly''' unbiased ''(relatively speaking)'' source like the [[Wikipedia:Main_Page|Wikipedia]]. Case in point:

* How I long for jounalists to attain the same level of true objectivity as encyclopedia writers are required ('''this''' wiki is a great example, beleive it or not).  My apologies to those who are in the journaling business and also contribute/read the wiki.  I am not trying to offend anyone but rather to make an observation.

The IDs for the costumes page were to the individual years, which are now taken care of by the individual pages. That's why there aren't IDs on the new pages (although, if someone wanted to get ''really'' ambitious, he or she could put 'id="homestar"', etc. on all the pages. But that's a topic for another day, probably). Also, you don't need to put underscores in the links. :Sure no problem.  Thank you for posting this, I did not want a revert war either. Unfortunately, this may be a more techincal issue than we both might have anticipated.  I think I notice the slight tonal difference between the background and the image. (Actually, I think this might be for me a visual artifact). Unfortunately, the RGB combination that you gave presented an even higher contrast between the image and background colors, which is why I reverted it.  If you see your RGB combination as the correct color in both your monitors, perhaps we might be running into some obscure problems with our hardware? It is certainly strange.  I have GIMP installed on my machine at home and will inspect the RGB values that it gives me and compare them with what we have. Actually Windows paint gave me Red: 248 Green:216 Blue:163. Which converted to hex would equate to: Red: F8, Green: D8, Blue: A3. Which would mean that numerically #F8D8A3 would be the correct color code. (#FFD196 would give it too much red, and not enough blue). I don't think E.L.Cool would've created the template with color differences, so it baffles me that both of your monitors would show a difference in the color combinations for that page.  From what i see #F8D8A3 has to be the right color combination.  I'm wondering, have you modified your monobook.css file? Oh well, welcome to the wild world of color correction and tone.  Just ask Dot com, or the guys that work with color with Dot com's magazine (not sure if he works with color himself). No two monitors display the same thing the same way (kinda like going to Best buy and looking at all the HDTV's and how different their image qualities are). But it's still strange that Lapper's school computers displayed different colors for pixels that were supposed to have the same RGB values. This I actually wrote (well assuming i got the first line right), during a workshop I had in college where one of the Biology Teachers (yes, Biology) who is an avid Haiku-ist gave us the task to write a [[Wikipedia:haiku|Haiku]].  Among some of the things that we were taught: Japanese haiku's do not always strictly follow the 5-7-5 rule.  Some of these even portray some picture with irony or surprise in it. ::Today was our seminar on Greek music theory. It's music theory from ancient Greece. Basically the oldest Western music theory we have. It went OK, all things considered. Now it's time to work on medieval theory. As for French: the difficulty is that I don't have any real experience in Spanish or Latin. Learning German has had the positive effect of giving me the experience of having learnt another language, but also the negative effect of strengthening all the wrong points for learning a Romance language. What do I mean by that? I mean that where English has similarities with German, they  are usually differences with French. (Already I remember several times when my teacher said, "That's like in English" and I thought to myself "Hmm. It's different in German".) But that class is still going pretty well. I just have to learn a new set of habits (like sticking adjectives after nouns). So that's the fun I've been up to lately. Sounds like you've had a dose of it yourself. ps it is debatable if there are different mersenne primes after #39 between the other ones.  if there aren't,then the 44th known mersenne prime is 2<sup>32,582,657</sup> - 1, which has 9,808,358 digits. <sub>(don't you love wikipedia)</sub> [[User:Kevin G. :Actually, you are absolutely right.  Since the solution space between the 44th and 39th mersenne primes hasn't been fully checked there may be others hidden (though I personally doubt it). (My BS was in CS ''and'' Math.)

:Yeah I've been meaning to bring this up for a while, but never got around to it.  And no one had noticed till now :-p.  Anyway, [[:Image:1overn.PNG]] was going to be my intended target.  It was uploaded by IRF and I volunteered to adopt it for the time being.  Though it was noted at some point that it was unnecessary since it was part of a convo.  So I'm guessing it should still be somewhat of a legit image.  Anyway, so I'm definitely keeping the other two.  Not sure what the options are for 1overn's survival.
