The delicious cake is a versatile foodstuff with many uses: celebrating birthdays, apologizing to those one has wronged, concealing prison-escape equipment, and so forth.

• Theme Song Video — Homestar Runner bakes Marzipan a cake that easily falls.
• Email monster truck — At Awexome Cross '98, The Cheat is going to jump the King of Town eating a cardboard box covered in syrup, which he thinks is cake.
• Email big white face — Strong Bad bakes two apology cakes for The Poopsmith.
• Revenge of the King — The winner of the battle gets to feast on chocolate-frosted cupcakes.
• Thy Dungeonman 3 — Any attempt to take the knife from the hands of the Fat, Fat Friar is met with the response that those who could do so would be privy to the narrator's secret recipe for cupcakes.
• Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon — Strong Mad brings Strong Bad a cake with the Jack Hamma! in it.
• Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 12.2 — "All of Marzipan's friends" and Homestar say that she said she would bake them a cake.

• Strong Bad is a Bad Guy — Homestar wants a tattoo that says Cakeman on his bulging bicep.
• Email pop-up — The email intro goes, "I was born to check email, and eat lots of cake!"
• Decemberween Short Shorts — One of Coach Z's plays is entitled "Cake Und Pie".
• Email strong badathlon — Homsar mistakes The Cheat covered in Whatsit for chocolate cake.
• Email unnatural — Homestar decides to go steal a slice of chocolate cake from a picnic table.
• Quality Time — Marzipan lures Homestar into the closet with the promise of cake. Homestar mistakes a broom and a coat for "broomcake" and "coatcake" respectively.
• Happy Dethemberween — Little Debbie Christmas Tree cakes are substituted for real pine trees in the special Brundo the Decemberween Yak and the Sword of St. Olaf.
• Trogday 08 (Easter egg) — Coach Z got Wormdingler a cupcake for its birthday.
• Email pet show — The Cheat uses the show name "Saberlord's Scritchascratch Cakemonger The Cheat".
  • Later, Strong Bad tells The Cheat that this contest, among other things, will be a piece of cake for him.
• Teen Girl Squad Issue 14 — What's Her Face gets attacked by a giant cake she bought at a bake sale months earlier.
• Homestar Ruiner — Marzipan's flashback implies that Strong Bad jumped into a cake at her last party. Homsar calls himself "a crudely drawn cupcake".
• Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Renaldo has a baloney-and-olive cake at his retirement party.
• Soap Box Doiby — The King of Town reveals that he likes to "eat the raw ingredients of cake separately and let them mix in [his] stomach".
• Haunted Photo Booth — The King of Town dresses up as Alice as a cake, from the music video for Don't Come Around Here No More.
• @StrongBadActual Tweet (29 Nov 2018) — So and So mixes cake batter but forgets an egg. The cake then comes to life and eats her.
