Sometimes a character can be so deeply saddened, they will start crying. Such reactions can range from quiet sobbing to completely breaking down in tears.
Appearances
- The King of Town DVD New Version — The King of Town cries, fearing that his sheep had been eaten by a dragon.
- Homestarloween Party — Strong Sad's depressing additions to the Goblin story causes everyone to cry except Strong Bad and Homestar; the latter replies with a depressed sigh and sarcastically thanks Strong Sad for coming to his party.
- Where's The Cheat? — Strong Mad weeps over a signed picture of The Cheat.
- A Decemberween Pageant — The Cheat cries whilst in character as The Popular Vote during the pageant.
- Email impression — Homsar claims that he's "cryin' on the inside" after Coach Z, mistaking him for Strong Sad, tells him to go home.
- Email crying — Strong Bad's drawing of Li'l Brudder causes Homestar Runner, The Cheat, Strong Sad and nearly Strong Bad himself to break down in tears.
- Email virus — Strong Bad cries hysterically over the death of the Compy 386.
- The Li'l Brudder Show — The opening credits for The Li'l Brudder Show causes Homestar to cry uncontrollably.
- Email long pants — Homestar cries in bed after Strong Bad refuses to believe that he wears pants.
- A Folky Tale — Saddy Dumpington manages to make a little girl and the squirrel cry.
- Sick Day — A sick The Cheat cries whilst sitting in the puke pail.
- Drive-Thru — The Cheat sobs heavily when he learns that the week's crappy toy is brown, rather than blue.
- Toikey TV — Saddy Dumpington makes a turkey cry by threatening to gut it, rip its entrails out by hand, grinding them up with some rosemary and sage before stuffing them back in.
- Play Date — Strong Mad sobs a little when Strong Bad arrives to take him home at the end of his play date with Homestar.
- SBCG4AP Gameplay Trailer — A clip of Coach Z crying in the locker room is shown.
- Strong Badia the Free —
- After finding the pilot badge, Strong Bad lets it slip that he earned it by making it through an entire flight without crying.
- If the draft wheel lands on Li'l Brudder, Homestar will start to break down crying. In addition, Strong Sad can cause The Cheat to cry during the Maps and Minions game.
- Baddest of the Bands —
- When finding the defaced album cover, Strong Bad will mention how Strong Sad cried for days after finding it ruined.
- If Strong Bad examines the pond after tricking Limozeen into pouring bleach in it, he will look at it and shed a tear before wiping it away and saying that he must have gotten bleach in his eye.
- Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Perducci cries hysterically after Dangeresque gets the plans following the urging of the movie director.
- Kick-A-Ball — Strong Mad sobs quietly when Strong Bad chooses The Cheat to join his team over him.
- Email independent — Strong Sad is shown weeping into the wrong end of a saxophone in order to create the soundtrack to his independent movie.
- Crystal Fortress — The toon features a crying unicorn.
- Punkin Stencils — Homestar chokes up when commenting on the Li'l Brudder stencil.
- Poker Night at the Inventory — Strong Bad says "Oh man, I'm so sorry, this is going to make you cry, 'cause I'm all in".
- I Killed Pom Pom — Homestar cries when he first thinks he killed Pom Pom, as he begins to miss him.
- Mr. Poofers Must Die — Strong Mad sobs a little after Strong Bad tells him that no one knows what his costume is.
- Quickstart Overview — The Cheat cries after Strong Mad hugs him.
- @StrongBadActual tweet (13 Sep 2019) — Strong Sad breaks down weeping at the end of his tribute to Daniel Johnston.
- Death Defying Entertainment — Strong Bad declares that they won't leave until someone's mom is crying.
- 2022 Costume Pack Now Available — Once again, the cast cries at Strong Sad's story ending.
- Front Facing — The Cheat weeps at the Brothers Strong's house after not being able to turn his body straight to the camera.
