[edit] Some Video Game Speculation
I sell video games for a living, working at a toy store, and if have my speculations about which game is referenced:
Night Vision Mode 4 - The goggles and night vision reminds me of the iconic Splinter Cell headgear.
Lord of Armor - The name and box art is similar to The Battle for Middle-earth II: The Rise of the Witch-king.
Tank Driverer - Could be tactical or strategy game with that name. I can't seem to think of a game where a tank is shown in that angle.
Sword Thong Gold Edition - Although there is now a fun fact that this game is a reference to Soul Caliber, I strong think that, unlike the others, this is a direct reference to Heavenly Sword. The name is practically the same, the box art is very similar with the same pose of pointing the sword forward and the long hair of the main character. And she also is wearing a thong throughout the game. If anything at all, I think this is the only fun-fact worthy one, since the others are somewhat generalizations. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 13:40, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- As for tank driverer, it could be that old game called Bolo. But it doesn't seem to have any art at all. ColdReactive
- I really think that trying to pin the games to any one thing as opposed to the general genre that it's in is pointless speculation. — Defender1031*Talk 17:56, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- I dunno, the night vision goggles -> splinter cell and sword thong -> heavenly sword seem pretty direct to me. -132.183.138.37 17:59, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with anon, there. Sword Thong Gold Edition is definitely a ref to Heavenly Sword. Nightsong81 20:00, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- For once, I'm going to have to agree with Defender here. It initially made me think of the Soul Calibur series. It's likely a reference to the genre, not to a particular game.

[edit] "New Stuff" Glitch
If you go to the bottom of the "new stuff" bar, this toon is found at the bottom of the list too. Whatever2965 14:06, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] BRAINKRIEG
Brainkrieg sounds more like a hardcore punk outfit than death metal in my opinion. Any thoughts? — 66.118.242.7 (Talk | contribs) 15:35, 15 December 2008 (UTC) (left unsigned)
- The band was introduced in death metal...'nuff said. DevonM(talk·cont-ribs) 15:54, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- I concur. The subject matter of death metal music is typically horror-inspired violence and the occult, whereas this song seems to be more social in content. Not only that, but their playing style seems more like punk or grunge rather than death metal. — 24.117.107.182 (Talk | contribs) 19:56, 15 December 2008 (UTC) (left unsigned)
- The point made in death metal was that they WEREN'T a death metal band... — Defender1031*Talk 20:01, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- Um, fat drummer, bowels of lungs, hunched posture, "de" words? Admittedly they missed the mark a bit, but the facts are there.92.2.112.197 14:59, 16 December 2008 (UTC)
- Just because a band SEEMS like death metal doesn't mean they are. In death metal, they were pretty much posing as a death metal band, and in this, they sound more like grunge.

[edit] Internet Channel
--ONESTOP 16:32, 15 December 2008 (UTC)This toon and several before it get screwed up on the Wii's Internet Channel. Why? (I is usin the Internet Ch. so that's why my sig came 1st.)
- As we've discussed on the Wiki a zillion times, it's because the Wii's Flash player isn't up to date. --Jay (Gobble) 16:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- And you can't update it either, so don't bother trying.--Flytape8490 17:00, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] trivia
It seems kind-of pointless to point out that homestar on the cover sings along to "Homestar Presents Presents" in the trivia, when it states it in the transcript.
- I concour. *ding* Pointy King 23:58, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please note, it was removed some time ago. — Defender1031*Talk 00:01, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cast
Is it necessary to add all the characters who appear in audio recycled from other toons? BBG 20:33, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- They're still part of the cast regardless. Recycled or not, it's in the toon, so it counts. -MNGoldenEagle 19:43, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Button Glitch
Is it just me or does the homescreen button not have the gloss that the others do? - Wecannotbesaved 20:37, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Longest toon?
Is this the longest toon of any kind on H*R pre-Easter Egg time? It's longer than any regular toons and longer than any SBemail without Easter Eggs included. Not sure whether this is worth noting though, since it does feel a bit contrived. 21:58, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
- There's currently a discussion about it, but i say it's not a "toon" as such. — Defender1031*Talk 22:00, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
TBC seem not to have put this under "holiday" on the toons menu yet, just "new". is this important? should I put this under goofs of fixed goofs when they fix it?-Lifty Fernandez
- Sometimes it takes awhile for it to be posted onto the regular menus. It's happened before with other "new" releases. By the next update it should be there, otherwise we will probably end up classifying it as a "Secret" page, just as the Eggs, Non-Sequitur Champion, and Happy T! did. -MNGoldenEagle 20:05, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] During the brainkrieg video...
All of the buttons for the menu are tabbable. Also another thing to mention, maybe a remark instead of a goof/glitch: After the brainkrieg video, since the tracklist doesn't repeat, you must select another track before you can select the brainkrieg video.
Also, O, Decemberween has audio artifacts. ColdReactive
- I know that and maby it is not a glitch. I think the smoking gutiar refers to Eat it music video where gutai r smokes then expodes.
I clicked "a cuss" during the video and it sent me back to the song menu.
- That happens if you click anywhere at any point during the song. — Defender1031*Talk 12:24, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Debra
Is the Debra line from The Dethemberween Thnikkman a reference to the song by Beck? Or am I just pulling at straws?
- Straws. — Defender1031*Talk 17:29, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
- Debra is first mentioned in Senior Prom.
- Though they may not be the same Deborah. There's no way to tell in either direction. --DorianGray 07:05, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
- True, but the point is, it's most likely NOT a reference to the song by Beck.
- Though they may not be the same Deborah. There's no way to tell in either direction. --DorianGray 07:05, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Did anyone notice?
There is one goof that I have seen and one reference. The goof is that when at the end they say "jugga-jigga-wugga", the drummer's outline becomes thinner and then goes back to it's normal state after the "jugga-jigga-wugga". The reference is that the page title, "Listen to it Fizz", is not only talking about the fizzing record but also it is a reference to the line from The Three Stooges, "Drop it in a glass of water and listen to it fizz!"
[edit] Babbage's Too?
I remember that in Teen Girl Squad Issue 9, Crazy Learner's Permit Girl gave Strong Bad a ride to Babbage's. Shouldn't we mention that this is the second time it has been mentioned? Let alone in the TGS universe? --Darkangel 21:56, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
- No. Second times are not notable, this isn't the sort of thing that would be notable were it a FIRST time, and it's not a reference to TGS9. --Jay (Gobble) 22:05, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Streamins
Hooked on Decemberween is now on the streamins, with a couple extra songs (Santaman Is Blademan, Death Defying Entertainment). Should we cover that on this article, or should we let this be about the toon and make a Hooked on Decemberween (album)? Lira (talk) 22:13, 9 December 2019 (UTC)
