Numbered Disks
From Homestar Runner Wiki
Numbered disks, usually referred to using the format "Disk x of y", are mentioned with relation to various computer games or similar technology in Homestar Runner. In keeping with other themes of outdated technology, this refers to terminology used by software distributed on floppy disks or CD-ROMs. Larger programs would require the use of multiple disks; for instance, operating systems requiring multiple disks for installation or a game requiring the user to remove and replace the current disk to progress to the next part of the game.
The original floppy disk version of LucasArts game The Secret of Monkey Island infamously prompted players to insert nonexistent disks numbered #22, #47, and #114 during a joke scene.
