[edit] Discussion

This is a character trait of Cheerleader and should be in her article. And it already is. This article does not add interesting information to that, in my opinion.delete Loafing 20:33, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

To be fair, Strong Bad's Ladies is likewise an element of his character, but it has its own article. True, part of that is that he's a much more central character than Cheerleader. Still, I'm unconvinced at this point that we should delete this article and would lean toward keeping now. Heimstern Läufer 10:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
It needs to be merged with Cheerleader. Delete. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 21:37, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
Number A, merging and deleting are two different things. Letter two, and much more importantly, you've given no reason for your opinion. It will likely just be ignored by the closer of the discussion if you don't give a reason. Heimstern Läufer 01:15, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
If it's something as small as this, it needs to be merged with the main article. Strong Bad's Ladies is pretty broad, this really isn't... MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 01:18, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
At the very least get rid of the biopsy for teen girl squad 12, it has very little to do with the topic itself. The list of her 'boyfriends' could then be merged with her own page. Or alternatively, complete the list to include boys that the other teen girl squad members are/were involved with. 21:16, 9 December 2008 (UTC)
A consensus hasn't been reached. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 04:41, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
This discussion needs more opinions before we can close it, and it's rather sorely overdue for a close. Any takers? Heimstern Läufer 02:22, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
I agree with MichealXX2 Merge with cheerleader.--Record307 Talk/Contribs 03:16, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

I like this artcle.I agree with Heimstwen Laufer and vote keep. --Mariofan1000 10:09, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

To elaborate on my opinion above, as well as to explain why I disagree with Loafing's original rationale that the article adds nothing to what we already have in Cheerleader's bio: The detailed list of appearances is quite informative, in my opinion, and that would definitely be lost if this were deleted or merged. Heimstern Läufer 10:31, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, the high amount of detail has me leaning very strongly towards keep. BBG 21:55, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
{Edit conflict} This is a component of a very distinctive personality trait for Cheerleader, one that isn't shared by the rest of the girls, and one that many of the comics end up revolving around. I say keep. —Guard Duck talk 21:56, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I say merge with Cheerleader. Look how much better this looks on Cheerleader's own little page. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 22:01, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
Actually, this article makes perfect sense to have as a separate one. There is a lot of information here and is constantly popping up in TGS toons. Broadness? Eh, it is honestly about as broad as Strong Bad's Ladies. We should keep this as a separate article. Merging it Cheerleader would just be too much. Should we merge Strong Bad's Ladies as well then? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 22:07, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I didn't think it looked that much better on Cheerleader's page, since it kinda came out of right field. BBG 22:23, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I agree. Michael, your post is premised on "how much better it looks" when really, it looks worse in my opinion. This article is distinctive enough to keep — Defender1031*Talk 23:56, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
I tried adding the intro and picture, but it still doesn't look better than it does on its own. BBG 15:02, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

This article's fairly interesting (how else are you going to tell how often Cheerleader mentions boys, and what context?), and makes a nice parallel to Strong Bad's Ladies to boot. I'd like to see it stick around. --DorianGray 10:45, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

At this point it seems clear that the consensus is to keep. Removing tag and closing discussion. — Defender1031*Talk 11:01, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] A Crush on Every Boy

May I ask the author, MHarrington, why he added that to the "Appearances" list of Cheerleader clearly did not say it? BBG 21:17, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

Not trying to speak for MHarrington here, but is it even remotely possible that there was just some temporary confusion over the scope of the article? I imagine the internal monologue upon seeing the revert: "Oh, right. Just Cheerleader, not the whole Teen Girl Squad." Given that it was just one edit (not a series of reverts and re-reverts), and that you should be assuming good faith, I don't think this rises to the level of needing a thread here on the talk page. — It's dot com 22:02, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
