Do you think we should do the shorts, too? Because I'd be willing to help out with those. That would be useful for the article (at least I think so). teeeffoh! 20:16, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I am planning on doing those later. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:19, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, would you place them on the same page, or make a "shorts by length?" Because if nobody thinks it's totally not awesome, I can start on it teeeffoh! 20:20, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
You can do it. I recommend putting them here and also put down the Holiday Toons. Rogue Leader / (my talk) 20:22, 29 January 2006 (UTC)
We still have some choices here before we go barging ahead with this. I think having them all on one page is good, but I don't know about other people. Also, do we want one table with all of the toons, shorts, and holiday toons; 3 separate tables; or both? Let's wait for some opinions before we go ahead with this. small_logo.pngUsername-talk 20:23, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sub-page?

Although I agree that the information on this page is useful, I kind of think that a lot of this is just redundant of the Toons page. Perhaps make this a sub-section, or sub-page of thate page. I just think that the information will be better-used there, especially since this page is currently orphaned. teeeffoh! 21:15, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

That page already have enought tables as it is. It's fine the way it is. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 21:17, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Obsolete

I just added about a dozen toons to this page that weren't there. Given that the tables on the Toons page can be sorted by any column (including length), I think we should consider getting rid of this page.  Green Helmet 00:52, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

I second that. This is just a small section of the Toons page. Delete. MichaelXX2 mail_icon.gif link_icon.gif 01:04, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
Wow, that is some impressive coding. Anyway, although there's nothing bad about this article per se, it's existence is just going to create twice as much work for us. Obso(de)lete. – The Chort 19:46, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
THAT is all the toons? Espemon333 01:03, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Nope. This article is missing Puppet Stuff, Powered by The Cheat, New Stuff, Marzipan's Answering Machine, Teen Girl Squad, Character Videos and anything else I've missed. – The Chort 14:03, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Unless we make this page more like the Strong Bad Email By Length page by listing every toon (Including Answering Machines, sbemails, TGS, etc) and not separate them by type of toon, I say delete. (That would be murder on some Internet connections though) DEI DAT VMdatvm center\super contra 12:48, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
There are a couple ways to handle this page. To do a comprehensive list, which would basically be redundant of All Toons (especially now that the sorting function has been fixed). Another way is just doing the Top X (probably Top 10 would be enough for most categories, but some like Puppet Stuff may only have enough for a Top 5). I favor the later, mainly because I can do a quick glance at "oh Doomy Tales Of The Macabre is the 6th longest holiday toon overall". This also keeps the length down and minimizes maintenance (which right now horribly lacking). wbwolf (t | ed) 01:27, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
Reviving an old topic, I think this page is slightly unnecessary since you can sort the tables on Toons and All Toons to view them by length. But I still like this page, and it would be a shame to have to delete it. So, instead of deleting it, I think we should make this page more useful somehow. One way is to include a comprehensive description, similar to Strong Bad Email By Length (which I just did). We could also have "including Easter eggs" columns on each table, although that would be a lot of work. I like DEIDATVM's idea of including all the toons in one table. There should be some sort of sorting function where each toon is initially seperated by its type, and when you click something, it turns into one list with a complete ranking from longest to shortest. If we do end up going with that last idea, someone more technologically knowledgeable than me would have to do it. Actually, would that even be possible to do? Anyway, I still like the "including Easter eggs" idea. Maybe I'll do that sometime. Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 18:00, 25 September 2017 (UTC)

[edit] Kick the Can

Should we add up all 15 Kick the Cans? If we add up the Limo. VS Slosh. and Hooked on Dween, we should add up this one too. I got 5:30. User:SBE-MAIL CHECKER DAN

[edit] Puppets on the Road

Puppets on the Road is even longer than I Killed Pom Pom, even though the puppet one is not on the website. So should we put that on the page, and if so how? And what should we do with other toons (like DVD extras)? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 22:36, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

I Killed Pom Pom is the longest toon on the site, with a time of seven minutes and forty-eight seconds.

I suppose you could put another image below it saying "Puppets on the Road is the longest toon in the Homestar Runner body of work, with a time of eigh minutes and thirty-four seconds" - Catjaz63 22:51, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
This page is for stuff on the site. — Defender1031*Talk 10:14, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

[edit] "Should not be a seperate article"

The thing that says this page should not be a seperate article is still there, and so is this page, but no one's said anything about deleting it since 2009. Should we remove the template? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 01:08, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

The template was added again without a reason. Why was it added? Gfdgsgxgzgdrc 16:48, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
