[edit] Other pages

Nintendo and Atari 2600 have most of the videogame references on the site. Should the pages be merged, maybe? Shwoo 01:04, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

I kinda like them separated, actually... Haven't worked out why yet, though. --DorianGray
I like them separate, in large part because there are so many references on each page (well, especially Nintendo). Perhaps this could be a "portal page" to the larger reference pages (Nintendo, Atari, Floppy Disk Container, others?) with any miscellaneous references (e.g. Turbografx) listed on it. I'm with Shwoo. Otherwise, there's not really any point to this article! but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!!

[edit] Move

I don't really like Video Games (Allusions) very much...

Suggest move to Other Video Games or something along those lines. Bluebry 06:50, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

I entirely agree — how about Miscellaneous video game references? This would match the title of the category Category:Video game references. Trey56 18:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

That would work, though the title is a bit long. Maybe we need a disambiguation page titled Video Game References that points to the various pages? wbwolf (t | ed) 18:47, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Why not merge this and the Nintendo, Atari, Intellivision, etc. pages together? but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 23:14, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
That page might be a bit too big, especially considering the length of the Nintendo page... how's about Misc Video Game References?Disco Pwahty 1975
That name sounds eerily similar to those of the previously suggested Miscellaneous video game references and Video Game References. but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 02:30, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
I think we should just get rid of this page altogether and keep Category:Video game references because this is just Video Game References in article form Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 17:14, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
No. this is video game references that don't fit onto specific pages within that category, hence "Miscellaneous video game references". — Defender1031*Talk 17:33, 18 February 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Orphan

This page is an orphan. I'm too lazy to figure out how I should link it. Help please? free 21:58, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

There you go, little buddy. I linked to it in several "See Also" sections, since that seemed simplest. --DorianGray 22:11, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Separate Page

We already have Nintendo, Atari, and Intellivision pages. I just added Sega. Do we really need this? StarFox 20:18, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I think I has the solution! Just add a second "See Also" (or something like that) section linking to the Nintendo, Sega, Sega Tapes, Atari, Intellivision, etc. pages. :D Eh? Steve? but, a buttdanceNeox ONION BUBS!YOU WILL RESPECT MAH AUTHORI-TAH!!! 02:28, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Format

The breakup of "Strong Bad Email" vs. "Other appearences" seems arbitrary. I think a breakup of "References to specific video games" with subheaders for each separate game series and "References to video games as a concept" is probably a better format. — Defender1031*Talk 05:43, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Name

"Allusions" sounds a bit awkward. why not just call this "Video Game References" or "References to Video Games"? — Defender1031*Talk 06:56, 5 November 2009 (UTC)

I totally agree--Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 17:11, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I agree as well. --209.148.176.136 11:37, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit] there are definitely more video game references

like, halloween costumes alone, at least 8 or 7 more. --J∃ffJMan 16:12, 16 March 2022 (UTC)
