[edit] Opinion
This is my favorite SB Email. Yep.
Yeah, I was cracking up laughing when I first saw it! And when I found the secret graffitied version of the Original Book: "Everyone throws shotputs at the Homestar Runner!" Hilarious!!! Signed, A HSR fan :)
[edit] Cover of the book
The cover looks waterproofed, like some little kids' books are. It looks like someone's drooled on it, too. (Baby Strong Sad?)
[edit] Eyeless fish beast
He strongly resembles Coach Z's dragon from.... dragon What do yall think....--Adamlw 18:16, 23 Aug 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Fangoriously
Is fangorious a real word? I doubt it, but I would like to double check before I start using it.
- It's a neologism, or a made-up word. So whether it's "real" or not depends on your definition of real. - Qermaq - (T/C) 15:35, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
- It's not in my dictionary, and Google only finds Homestar references... seems not. --phlip TC 15:36, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RE2 Refrence?
Do you think that the gelatinous monster was a refrence to Resident Evil 2's true final boss? That thing was a giant blob with teeth and eyes. I think it's a refrence. How about you? I can see what would happen if Strong Bad was a RE fan. "Some people are being fangoriously devoured by William Birkin's final form. Hillary's legs are being digested." — 69.40.243.149 (Talk | contribs) 17:07, 16 June 2007 (UTC) (left unsigned)
- I think it's a coincidence, personally; there are a probably a lot of similar monsters in various media... Trey56 17:10, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, YEAH! Ever heard of "The Blob"? Neox
[edit] Strumstar Hammer
Should the cast of the altered Original Book be included in the cast for this email? Bad Bad Guy 22:00, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A Real Book?
I found This real book (released 2001) at Amazon. Make of it what you will. Stev0 17:25, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] IGN?
Anyone else see this article at IGN that claims they sent this one? http://pc.ign.com/articles/883/883140p3.html Does it even matter? I don't do wikis very well (thus the no account), so I can never tell.
- Good find! I think it would be okay to note this in Trivia with a comment like, "IGN's staff claims responsibility for sending this email in this article." --Jay (Gobble) 01:08, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Mmmmh, I'm not sure. I think we once established that sometimes several people claim that Strong Bad answered their email at the same time. And even do so in good faith. While I believe the claim was made in good faith, we may want to investigate a bit further before we put this on the actual article. A sysop (with more time than myself) could email them and ask how closely the answered email resembles the one that they sent. Loafing 01:50, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] DVD egg
Hey guys; I suppose this would normally be forum stuff, but since I might not be the only person too stupid to find out how to access the Strumstar Hammer egg on the DVD, I thought maybe it could be worth a remark. So, could somebody please tell me what I have to do? The only direction key that seems to do anything (aside from switching through the selections) is down, and that will only lead me to the Eh Steve! egg. (Oh, this is Cass from Germany by the way, I just noticed the comp logged me out.)--78.94.89.202 00:46, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Not on Fire" a "Not X"?
Should we consider the sentence "No two people are not on fire" a reference to "Not X"? --70.253.165.204 00:37, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
