[edit] What is that photo?

Poster on Strong Sad's wall in no loafing

In the little easter egg showing the "Appointment", what is the photo on Strong Sad's wall? Just wondering. Jon 18:05 GMT

Woah. I have no idea. Maybe TBC when they were young'uns? --Southpaw018 17:48, 2 Nov 2004 (MST)

It is not The Brothers Chaps, but I'm curious enough to upload a screenshot. -- Tom 21:11, 2 Nov 2004 (MST)

Judging by his previous posters of bands like The Cure, The Promise Ring, etc. I'd say it's likely some 80's synthrock or (more likely) recent emo/indie band. I'll ask around and see if we can get it figured out... I've got the..ah... connections. (to people who know emo and indie bands). -- Body 1 Bite 1 26nov2004.

It's the band The Promise Ring. --Trogga 11:47, 9 Feb 2005 (MST)

Cool. I've added this to the article. -- Tom 11:52, 9 Feb 2005 (MST)

[edit] Voice appearance

Am I correct in thinking that the voice appearance of the other Matt mentioned by TBC in the DVD commentary is in the Email "sibbie"? If so, it looks like TBC made a stnank, because they said his appearance was "on later", when in fact "sibbie" comes before this Email. Am I right? If I am, does anyone else think this ought to be noted? Heimstern Läufer 05:46, 12 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Closed STUFF

These were on the STUFF page and declined. If you wish to contest these, leave a note here, but don't allow it to be confused with any of the original votes.

[edit] Car? Not no more.

Strong Bad says "his cool, cool car" in the beginning, but later says he has no car in the e-mail car.

  • Decline. Just a song. --Upsilon
    • Second. There really ought to be a moratorium on these kinds of Fun Facts. Some of these are really getting ridiculous. --TheEggman 15:26, 9 Feb 2005 (MST)
    • Second. I say leave cross references out completely unless its an actual running gag. This "Strong Bad once said or did or was seen doing blah blah blah in another e-mail" crap is obnoxious. Its just eager kids trying to be heard. Bleh. --Donny vs Universe

  • Accept. It's just too bad we don't know what happened to SB's car between "No Loafing" and "Car"... maybe they will make a toon about it someday. It's also worth noting that SB had a car in "Dangeresque 3", so maybe he was between cars in the "Car" email. He must have had a car before that email, because he dressed up as CARmen twice for halloween.
    • Please sign your vote for it to count. --TheEggman 22:09, 15 Feb 2005 (MST)
      • Do you WANT that vote to count?! Even if you agreed with the fact (which I see that you don't), would you really want someone that incoherent controlling what goes on the Wiki?! I'm neutral toward the fact but I'm half-tempted to turn my vote to decline out of protest for the joke votes! (Don't count that as a vote; I'm kidding.) --Jay 23:51, 15 Feb 2005 (MST)

VERDICT: After several weeks of voting, this item was unanimously Declined. Moved to this page --TheEggman 21:27, 7 Mar 2005 (MST)

[edit] Like, who cares?

Strong Bad says, "the kinds that have like whales or sunsets or windsurfers on 'em," but does not type the word "like".

[edit] Loading n' Loafing

I don't know, but on my computer there's no "Loading" part at the beginning of the email. Just me, or worth pointing out? --Gooblies 18:05, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] That is NOT Strong Bad's Computer Room.

That image is clearly The Garage. The computer room has an orange carpet & dark blue walls, the garage has a grey floor & sky blue walls.

The computer room also occasionally has grey floors. --DorianGray 02:12, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
It looks just like the area by the light switches, as seen in techno (and the image linked to above). It seems to me that the entire email is taking place in the same room. I would like this page and the Garage page to change this reference. --TimMierz 20:24, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] An explanation

I know this was already stuffed, but the intro song sounds like the first one or two lines in Back in the USSR. StarFox 18:16, 20 October 2009 (UTC)

It is still not worthy enough. I mean it's hardly noticeable. Just leave this one alone. Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 02:39, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit] huh?

every time I watch this email, before it starts, instead of showing the loading screen, it shows this: File:no loafing glitch.PNG

It's only for this email! It's so weird. Is this happening to anyone else? Rondleman! Stuff I did.Talk. 02:35, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

All right, I can help you with that. Please hold while I transfer you to someone who can help you with that. {hold music} Have you tried clearing your cache? DENNIS T/C 03:12, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
i'm getting no loading screen at all; it just starts. that seems a bit unusual too. all the others i've looked at include a loading screen. The Knights Who Say Ni 03:27, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Now that you mention it, I'm having the same issue. DENNIS T/C 03:36, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
I just looked at the Wayback Machine's version from December 3, 2003, and it shows a loading screen. Weird. DENNIS T/C 03:45, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Sorry guys, just one more thing: the loading screen disappeared sometime between April 11, 2004 and June 9, 2004. DENNIS T/C 03:49, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Funny thing is, the loading screen is still there, whether it's being seen or not; the Greasemonkey script can be messed with to show this. But, yeah, seeing the same thing, but only for a fraction of a second. --Jay (Talk) 04:49, 10 September 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Matt Chapman has friends?

I don't really think the picture of the guy in the "I HAVE FRIENDS!" poster is clearly Matt Chapman. It's too hard to tell. Does anyone else have an opinion?--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 00:23, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

Looks like Bill Gates to me... — Defender1031*Talk 00:28, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Okay. I didn't want to revert without a discussion, in case knew something I didn't. For all I know, he's Matt Chapman himself.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 00:38, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Actually, the DVD commentary seems to suggest it's someone else named Matt.--.Johnny Jupiter! talk cont 00:41, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
