[edit] Whether to use
Aside from cosmetic things (like the bold and overall size of the words and the template itself, which all need to be addressed), I'm wondering if we need a template with all the toons on it. Would this template be useful in finding a toon to navigate to? — It's dot com 01:05, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- There needs to be a cutoff point from when template are very useful to when they distract and take up space. I unfortunately believe this template belongs in the latter category. Large templates like this are useful if you're looking for something in a series (like the sbemail one), but one containing everything in a broad subject might be a bit less useful. - Just for the record, similar templates were once created and deleted. They can be viewed in my archive. I'm on the fence on this subject, but there was a previous consensus to delete them. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 08:25, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- At least once. They tend to crop up every now and again, and I stand by my initial position, as always: this thing is gigantic. It's trying to contain too much info. It's essentially trying to do the job of categories, which is what makes it so large and unwieldly. --DorianGray 08:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with everyone here. It's WAY too big to be considered beneficial. Perhaps we should break it up into smaller infoboxes. --DENNIS 23:13, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- Far too large to be useful, split where it makes sense (SBEmail for instance) but this is definitely not a worthwhile endeavor.

Yes the template is huge, and while it would not be appropriate to place this in every single page it links to, it is a more compactly organized list of all toons compared to Toons or its related category(-ies). Instead this could be some stand-alone page easily accessible from some (yet to be determined) appropriate page or shortcut. Better yet, we could hide the hugeness with a WP navbox-style "show/hide" tab (assuming the right CSS is added) and still use it as a navbox. The current font is huge and a smaller one could be used to make it more manageable. With this, I could easily make a marathon non-sbe toon watch in less than a day! --Stux 02:07, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
