- I don't get why nbsp is needed either. Screen resolutions and browser settings vary to make that level of nitpickiness unnecessary. And the centering is unneeded. More like:

[edit] Mix-up
I've just noticed on this template, it says that Mike's Birthday submissions are due on Sept. 10, and on IRF's Talk Page, it says the 11th. Since it's protected, I can't do anything. Can somebody else fix this? TheCoolBot 21:45, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

- It seems the category is causing problems with the login page. I think moving the category tag to this talk page and clearing the page should do the trick. --Stux 05:53, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Main page redesign notice
About 7 years ago, I suggested that the main page be redesigned to fill out the "Browse the knowledge base" section with more useful links, and to utilize the empty space beneath it with cool and helpful new sections (like a @StrongBadActual feed, automated daily trivia, and an automated daily featured article to replace the current featured content section which is pretty much exclusively Halloween, Decemberween, and Trogday-themed).
After a couple years of discussion and a few different iterations, we've come up with a design that I think is pretty great, but no further progress has been made for a while. Discussion hasn't been very active, and while I personally like the design, it seems as though a more general consensus might be needed before it's approved. I think the recent changes would be the perfect place for such a call to action! Something like this, perhaps:
